I purchased this tool to because I got in a bind and had to trim a door. This was a tough task for the saw but I got the job done. Wouldn’t recommend this saw for any cuts thicker than 3/4” but have been using it recently for cutting Lexan and it does the trick. Love the compact size and weight.

I love it! I have the worm drive also which is great for bigger projects but this is just handy for the little stuff

Very quiet and doesn’t kill my batteries even after an hour of almost continuous usage

I am a handy man/ contractor and this saw is the best. Put a 6 amphr battery on it and you’re cutting for a long time.

I bought this saw for my mother after watching her struggling to use another brands saw. This small saw is perfect for her. She can cut 2x lumber as well as sheet goods with ease.

This saw has a lot of torque for a m12! I’m converting over from my Ridgid 18v to Milwaukee m12 & m18 and so far I’m pleased!

Milwaukee claims up to 170 cuts from a battery so I put it to the test. With a fully charged 4AH battery and a 2×4 piece of pine I got 207 cuts before the battery flashed near empty. The cuts were easy and smooth. I used the Milwaukee Carbide blade that came with the saw. The base plate is flat as I checked the cut and found less than 1/32 inch difference from top of cut to bottom. The saw is solid and feels good in the hand. I was a little concerned about the blade guard having what I thought was excessive side movement, but it worked flawlessly and didn’t have a problem directing most of the sawdust down. This is my third Milwaukee M12 Fuel tool and it doesn’t disappoint.

I bought this saw hoping to replace my Milwaukee 6 1/2 saw but miserable failed to do so. It fits nicely in my 24” bostitch tool box so I don’t have to puzzle to fit between my all Milwaukee sawzall, drill, impacter, sets of whole saws, 2 pooch bags with all kind of things for various jobs and 4 sets of m18xc5.0 batteries. I’m a plumber so this product just didn’t fit the purpose but it was good try. Should stick with 6 1/2 saw, it’s great for small time framing job but to cut 4”-2” pvc pipe suck A.

It costs sheet goods with ease. The blade that comes with it is fine but once you change to a diablo blade it really brings this saw to life

I’ve been using this saw for over a year on a variety of DIY projects. It’s worked really well for the most part. I love that it’s light and compact; easy to carry around and transport. I’ve been working mostly with 2×4 pine and 1/2 plywood, and this saw cuts through them easily. I recently tried the saw on 3/4 plywood and 2×4 cedar and this saw struggled a lot. I barely got through one straight cut (slowly) on the 2×4 cedar before the battery would overheat or give out. In the end, I used a corded circular saw to finish the job. I still like this saw and would recommend it for most DIYers. Still, I’m now shopping for a more powerful saw.

I bought this for some projects around home. Ripping plywood for shelving, quick cuts on 2×4’s and 2×6’s, etc. I don’t know how people are having issues with this saw. No, you can’t push it like a corded worm drive saw, but hey, it isn’t made for that! If you think that going in to buying it, maybe you need to learn how to buy tools. If you use a little common sense this can be a really nice saw to have around. Obviously a larger battery is nice, like the xc6.0, and this definitely makes the saw shine. I cut up three sheets of half inch plywood on one battery with this saw. I made one 4′ cut and two 6.5′ cuts on each sheet. I never had a problem. It was nice because the saw was easier to control on the long cuts than a bigger, heavier saw. The blade never stopped, and it cut more than reasonably quick. Just don’t push it like a big saw or expect it to do the job of a big saw and you will be really happy, and you can still do reasonably big jobs with a nice, light saw that doesn’t tire your arm out.

At first I had my doubts that this saw could have the necessary power to make the required cuts, I read several reviews and decided to buy it, WOW this little machine cuts wood as if it were butter is perfect for what I need, I did my work with a 2 Amps. battery from my hammer drill …. next purchase, batteries with higher amperage
