Circular Saw has a cut capacity of 1-5/8 in. for cutting 2x dimensional lumber and delivers up to 170 cuts per charge and up to 2X the motor life of competitive products. I’ve been using this to cute 3/4″ plywood and it works great. its small, powerful and rugged. Keep in mind that this is not the 18V series so it won’t have the same power but for as small as it is, it meets all my requirement.

I wanted this to cut my 3/4″ plywood into manageable pieces for my table saw. Four batteries later, I’ve got my pieces cut. Had to go super slow and took way too much time. If your wanting something to cut 3/4″ plywood, I’d go with the 18V for sure.

It a good saw especially for the 12v platform. I already have a 18v but realized how handy it be would be to have a second saw. Nice to have two saws and have one on the two different voltage platforms. But definitely not a 18v saw. But works great for what I need and works well.

There is just something great about a small, light, powerful and accurate circular saw. Not all jobs need the depth or power of larger saws. Especially in areas of home renovation, have resized doors, cut molding, shelving, etc. Occasionally have used for small jobs with 2x material, even treated. I would like to see Milwaukee bring out an 8 or 9ah M12 battery. I think that would make this saw even better.

Accurate, lightweight & comfortable to use. Other reviews complained about binding, make sure the depth guide is set for the wood thickness and it works great. Comes with a framing blade which can leave chippy edges, get a finish blade for finer cuts. Blade size is not a common stock item in stores but easily available online. Rip guide is a separate accessory and very useful, worth buying at $15.
