This saw is perfect for précis woodworking. Compact, light, quiet, and easily adjustable. The only downside is that I wish it had a dedicated dust collection option.

Battery life is perhaps the only drawback on this model, though I would like to get Milwaukee’s extended m12 packs to really give this saw the respect it deserves. Used to saw through 5-ply board this saw requires a steady hand and some patience but does deliver a fine job in the end. Recommended for light work where lugging around a more cumbersome saw would not suffice.

This saw is great for occasional use. However the user must be dead on with its use. Any bad habits will bog this saw down. I find the use of a speed square on 2x material to guide the saw really alleviates the problem. Course correction is not an option. I use it for the occasional 2×4 cuts and small plywood cuts. For this the tool works fine. If I was expecting heavier use, I’d look to it’s bigger brothers.

Beautiful little saw. The only issue is that it should come with a gate. It’s small size can make itsquirrely on long cuts.

lightweight and no cords in my way. Battery works with all of my tools and jacket

I love the small and light weight saw but not having a dust port on the side makes it kinda messy and I do wish it had one. It does know how to use a battery. It doesn’t just sip!

The M12 saw I recently purchased worked great for light use sawing. I purchased that saw because I already have 2 M12 drills with batteries that l can interchange when working on a project. Milwaukee could produce a cutoff wheel that fits the saw for cutting light metal. I was unable to find a compatible wheel for such use. With like accessories the saw would be a 6-star tool.

Really like it. Always ready to work. Enough power, low noise

Bought this based on reviews. Yes this saw does do a decent job on 2x’s but it did slow down a bit as well. It didn’t so well on plywood. Kept getting stuck mid cut and kept having to back out. Maybe the M18 would do a little better.

Using the tool to cut metal trim for a metal building the saw works great.

Not all of us using Milwaukee tools work outside on a construction site. It would be fantastic if I have a saw I could hook up a shop vac to and collect some of that saw dust indoors. I dread taking the saw out knowing the time I will need to clean up. I would pay extra for some sort of accessory that works with a cordless circular saw to help with the dust.

I have been looking for a small light weight saw while remodeling an old farm house. The fuel saw has not disappointed me at all. I cut through treated lumber just as easy as I cut through non treated lumber and plywood. I am also a huge fan of saws with the blade in the left side so I don’t have to bend over the work piece to see my lines. With its light weight frame, even with a 6ah battery, I can used the saw all day without developing carpal tunnel.

I had the battery and charger and needed this kind of tool and it seems to perform well, so that’s why i bought it. I agree with others that it will not do the number of cuts advertised. But for the money and the jobs I have as a homeowner, it is powerful and very convenient as a cordless, and light and easy to manage, relative to a wired Skil saw. Big job? Go 120. Anything else and this is super convenient and powerful enough to do the job.
