Like size/weight. Purchased for using wood cutting blade mostly for grab and go in mind, metal sheet cutting as option. Like that it uses 18v standard, which with a 36T Diablo or 24T Norske framing blade makes cutting creamy smooth. Like the illumination but suggest instead of those so called laser lights which fail and become useless, I’m sure R&D could come up with an illumination AND guide light running off the rechargeable battery. C’mon. Can’t be that hard. Hands down winner after you’ve satisfied the lust for power and efficiency.

I recently used this saw to cut out some floorboards. The saw drained the smaller battery pretty fast. The larger battery held up better. The reason I like this saw is because it felt like I was in control of it. I have a larger skill saw that I started using before this one came along and it just felt like it was overkill and It was a bit jerky like I was going to loose control.
