bought it so I won’t have to go back home and get my M18 circular saw. I need it to cut down some doors after the carpet guys at put them in and they were rubbing on the new carpet. Thought I would give it a try that’s that’s perfect returning doors. love the compact size and how quiet it is would have given five stars if the battery would have lasted a little longer was only able to make it through three solid oak doors with the 2.0 battery. I was hoping to get through 5 doors but it is what it is. great clean cut and when the battery was charged it went through fantastic I think I’m the last door It was kinda fighting at was pretty drained and was going slow

Purchased this saw after buying a combo kit that was offered around Christmas for a great price. Ive been professional window treatment installer and contractor for the past 18 years and always ran the yellow and black products until having issues with lithium 1/4″ quick chuck failures on all 5 of my 20 and 12V products that they didn’t warranty. Have the old Ni-cad 18’s that have never failed and I bought them in 2005 (but that’s another story).Anyway back to this saw.I bought the bare tool since I had the 1.5 and 2 amp hour batteries already because I needed a circular saw for quick cuts.If you need to make a few quick cuts this saw is great with the little batteries and gets the job done.Ex. quick rip on sheet goods or cut a 2×4,2×6 grab this an cut and its perfect! no complaints for a couple cuts. The problem or frustration or bad reviews you may read are with the small batteries and their capacity(they’re small and compact like they should be) I totally get that these are compact small light weight tools guy and I love them.Upgraded to 6 amp batteries for a couple reasons, 1, more run time and I can stand them up in window sills and they don’t tip over and 2, every tool has more power period. If you want this little saw to impress you then either buy the kit with the bigger battery or buy a bigger battery, the difference in the saw is night and day. I have product delivered on pallets and usually cut them up for camp wood or fire wood for the fire pit, on a small battery I might get 2 cut up on a 2 amp battery if I let the saw do the work and don’t force it.With the 6 amp I can be more aggressive and can cut up 6-7 on 1 charge easy( I’ve only had 7 at one time to try so performance could be more). If you buy the saw and hate it because its a dog and no power step up to an 18 or buy a 6 amp battery its that simple and you’ll be happy. If your buying a saw kit and you don’t own 12v tools buy the stand alone 18 v kit and you’ll be much happier.Hope my review helps future customers. Thanks for reading my review. And a side note, the the jigsaw is awesome(only 2 possible complaint is it has no built in blower to clear the cut path, not sure why that is and you can’t adjust the blade stroke which would be nice, its old school and ya got to blow the line clear as you cut and on harder wood can be a little jumpy). Id recommend both and hope they address a couple things but overall, very good addition to the 12v lineup for sure. And the little vacuum is awesome as long as you’re not expecting garage sized dirt sucking performance it the size of a “dust Buster” guys!

I’ve been using this to cute 3/4″ plywood and it works great. its small, powerful and rugged. Keep in mind that this is not the 18V series so it won’t have the same power but for as small as it is, it meets all my requirement.

I love it. Great for small jobs.

I wanted this to cut my 3/4″ plywood into manageable pieces for my table saw. Four batteries later, I’ve got my pieces cut. Had to go super slow and took way too much time. If your wanting something to cut 3/4″ plywood, I’d go with the 18V for sure.

Amazing little saw. Just big enough to cut through 2x lumber. Great for roofing and remodeling.

This saw has more power than my old 18v which was a different brand. Milwaukee continues to innovate the best tools in the industry. Thank you !!

It’s a great looking tool and preform will, but under estimated my requirements, what is the possibles I could trade it in on the next Heist voltage available?

noticed on the box that this is only for finish carpentry. I only planned to use it on smaller jobs anyway so will work out great.

I like the compactness and light weightless of this 12v saw. I also have a 18v unit but would likely use the 12v saw more frequently.

Everything works great, just make sure you buy a different blade from the one that comes in the box. I went with diablo.

Love it for small cuts or ripping thin plywood. Has not gotten hung up once with a 6.0 ah battery.

Not include with saw guide a trouble.
