I’m Getting older. This is a saw that is powerful enough to get the job done without the heavy weight of my old skil saw. Thanks!

I have other saws from corded worm drives to an M18? This little saw gets used exclusively for all the tasks where convenience and high mobility is important, overhead work and as part of lightweight punch list kit. This saw may not have the added features of it’s larger brothers? It doesn’t need all that because it’s not really in the same use category and it’s strengths (stated above) means they don’t substitute for it either.Plenty of power but, If buying a single saw to use for everything? Buy a bigger saw. If you’re in need of a small saw or have the need for an additional saw for diverse set ups? This. )You can’t go wrong.)

At first I had my doubts that this saw could have the necessary power to make the required cuts, I read several reviews and decided to buy it, WOW this little machine cuts wood as if it were butter is perfect for what I need, I did my work with a 2 Amps. battery from my hammer drill …. next purchase, batteries with higher amperage

Excellent saw, cut just as well as a full size. Wish it came with an edge guide though.

I’ve been using this saw for over a year on a variety of DIY projects. It’s worked really well for the most part. I love that it’s light and compact; easy to carry around and transport. I’ve been working mostly with 2×4 pine and 1/2 plywood, and this saw cuts through them easily. I recently tried the saw on 3/4 plywood and 2×4 cedar and this saw struggled a lot. I barely got through one straight cut (slowly) on the 2×4 cedar before the battery would overheat or give out. In the end, I used a corded circular saw to finish the job. I still like this saw and would recommend it for most DIYers. Still, I’m now shopping for a more powerful saw.

Accurate, lightweight & comfortable to use. Other reviews complained about binding, make sure the depth guide is set for the wood thickness and it works great. Comes with a framing blade which can leave chippy edges, get a finish blade for finer cuts. Blade size is not a common stock item in stores but easily available online. Rip guide is a separate accessory and very useful, worth buying at $15.

I use this great little saw for cutting things it was meant for. Plywood, wall panels, shelving. It’s so much lighter than my M18 FUEL circular, yet still powerful enough to handle the tasks. Also, I like that this saw’s blade cuts on left side, instead of the right side like my M18, which can let me cut closer in tight situations. I was relieved to find that a variety of blades are readily available in 5-3/8″ diameter. So, another valuable addition to my Milwaukee tool arsenal!

This saw has a lot of torque for a m12! I’m converting over from my Ridgid 18v to Milwaukee m12 & m18 and so far I’m pleased!

I had the battery and charger and needed this kind of tool and it seems to perform well, so that’s why i bought it. I agree with others that it will not do the number of cuts advertised. But for the money and the jobs I have as a homeowner, it is powerful and very convenient as a cordless, and light and easy to manage, relative to a wired Skil saw. Big job? Go 120. Anything else and this is super convenient and powerful enough to do the job.
