Performance is not sacrificed despite lower peak torque due to its Longer Sustained Torque that allows the tool to complete core users most common applications. The POWERSTATE Brushless Motor delivers up to 0 RPM-3,000 RPM with constant power output to drive screws faster. Built-in REDLINK PLUS intelligence is the most advanced electronic system on the market, preventing damage to the user’s tool and battery caused by overloading or overheating. The cordless impact driver is compatible with all Milwaukee M12 REDLITHIUM Compact Batteries or Extended Capacity Batteries, delivering users with more work per charge and more work over the life of the pack than competitive batteries. In addition to the M12 FUEL SURGE 1/4 in. Hex Hydraulic Driver, this kit includes two M12 REDLITHIUM CP2.0 batteries and a contractor bag.

An absolutely incredible tool. As a handyman I work inside people’s houses. This tool is Much quieter than a standard driver. It is powerful and I love the hydraulic drive. It feels like I can finish driving a screw more softly while giving more “feel”. Perfect for driving long stainless screws without breaking them off. I will never be without one again.

I’ve been using this at work for a few weeks now and even the small batteries will last me most of a day driving 3″ in soft woods. Is it the most powerful tool on the planet, no but it gets the job done and my bags appreciate the smaller form factor and the lower weight. The Good:I purchased this online as a kit a little more than a year ago and I absolutely love it! this is hands-down way better than Milwaukee’s Fuel M12 impact, which i own. I use it for doing HVAC work hanging ductwork. this is by far the best compact impact you can buy.The Bad:1- I now have two batteries that are going bad. after doing some online research there seems to be some issues with the contact points between the batteries and the impact itself. I always let the batteries run out before I charge them, and I never charge them using a generator. 2- my second issue, is the LED battery indicator lights on the side of the impact are almost nonexistent now. it’s getting extremely difficult to tell what the battery level is.overall would I recommend this to somebody else? Yes. I know the batteries are expensive to replace those and even with the LED indicator lights not working this is still a phenomenal impact.

I’m an electrician and this is my main driver for all my needs. From screwing boxes to drill hole in I beams to putting on hundreds of wirenuts. It does it all. And it does it quietly.I had the M12 Fuel impact before this, but can’t see myself buying a new tool. My M12 is working perfectly fine. Even though I had my eyes on this for some time. Then one day my M12 fell from a 50 ft. boom lift. For sure it is completely destroyed. To my surprise, it still works. It make some noise. So I gave it to someone that only use the tool once in awhile. I ended up buy the M12 Surge. I’ve been using it for almost two years now. Still works as well as the day I got it. Just got myself a M12 band-saw last week.
