The Milwaukee M12 FUEL SURGE 1/4 in. Hex Hydraulic Driver is the industry’s first 12-Volt hydraulic impact driver. Featuring the FLUID-DRIVE Hydraulic Powertrain, the hydraulic impact will allow users to experience operation up to 2X quieter with less vibration for smoother and faster driving speeds compared to standard impacts. The compact size of the tool and battery provides users with unmatched access in tight spaces and allows for easy transport on a tool belt and easy fitting into a job site tool bag. Performance is not sacrificed despite lower peak torque due to its Longer Sustained Torque that allows the tool to complete core users most common applications. The POWERSTATE Brushless Motor delivers up to 0 RPM to 3,000 RPM with constant power output to drive screws faster. Built-in REDLINK PLUS Intelligence is the most advanced electronic system on the market, preventing damage to the user’s tool and battery caused by overloading or overheating. The cordless impact driver is compatible with all Milwaukee M12 REDLITHIUM Compact Batteries or Extended Capacity Batteries, delivering users with more work per charge and more work over the life of the pack than competitive batteries. The Milwaukee M12 Rover Mounting Flood Light allows users to take light anywhere and hang it everywhere. This flood light provides up to 1,000 Lumens of TRUEVIEW High Definition Output and can light up a large workspace for extended periods.

Overall it is pretty good product from Milwaukee as expected. If it weren’t for the free flood light, I probably won’t get for the price. The flood light is pretty bright. For the impact, I really like the feel and the comfort of using it. I used it more than my M18 impact due to its size, I can easily put them inside my VETO bag without having to struggle to close the zipper. I don’t mind the removing and inserting of the battery, some user doesn’t like it but for me it is okay.

All the power and quality I would expect from Milwaukee Tool. Surprised by how quietly it drives screws in, even in hard substrates. Wish I had one a few years back when I had a customer’s tenent that complained about the noise when driving screws for a remodel.

This is the 1st impact driver I have had. I have always used drills for driving screws. I framed a workshop with screws and will probably never use a standard drill to drive more than 3 screws again. This thing is light, battery life is great and it makes driving screws easy on the body and drastically reduces stripped screws. Love it!! Can not believe I went so long not realizing the greatness of an impact driver.
