The Milwaukee M12 FUEL SURGE 1/4 in. Hex Hydraulic Driver is the industry’s first 12-Volt hydraulic impact driver. Featuring the FLUID-DRIVE Hydraulic Powertrain, the hydraulic impact will allow users to experience operation up to 2X quieter with less vibration for smoother and faster driving speeds compared to standard impacts. The compact size of the tool and battery provides users with unmatched access in tight spaces and allows for easy transport on a tool belt and easy fitting into a job site tool bag. Performance is not sacrificed despite lower peak torque due to its Longer Sustained Torque that allows the tool to complete core users most common applications. The POWERSTATE Brushless Motor delivers up to 0 RPM to 3,000 RPM with constant power output to drive screws faster. Built-in REDLINK PLUS Intelligence is the most advanced electronic system on the market, preventing damage to the user’s tool and battery caused by overloading or overheating. The cordless impact driver is compatible with all Milwaukee M12 REDLITHIUM Compact Batteries or Extended Capacity Batteries, delivering users with more work per charge and more work over the life of the pack than competitive batteries. In addition to the M12 FUEL SURGE 1/4 in. Hex Hydraulic Driver, this kit includes two M12 REDLITHIUM CP2.0 batteries and a contractor bag.

I have had m12 products for work and home use Zero issues. This rotary tool is easy to use and maneuver even with the 6.0 mah battery. Kind wish it had a trigger switch but I understand why they went with the on off switch they have.

Compact and well built. Love the quiet impact feature. I would highly recommend this tool. Battery life seems to be really long for the little time I have had it.

I have been a Milwaukee M12/M18 Fuel user for a few years now. I was installing some Sail Shades, and driving 1-1/2″ #10 screws into wood. The M18 Fuel Impact I was using was LOUD, since I was right at the roof line, and the echo was pretty deafening. After considering both the M12 and M18 Surge, I decided on the M12, since it’s slightly smaller, and both have the same 450 IN-LB of torque.I have used the new M12 Surge Impact for a lot of projects since: 1) two ceiling fans, 2) recovering some porch chairs (removing the seat from the frame), 3) removing cabinet doors to install a new bathroom faucet, 4) install curtain rods, 5) install a shower grab rail. The most impressive feature to me are the very low torque on setting #1, it is way more controllable than my old M12 Fuel impact.Other Milwaukee Tools I own and love: M18 5-inch grinder, M18 6-1/2 saw, M12 Fuel Hackall, M12 Jigsaw.

After a week and 3 or 4 uses, it seems to have plenty of power, and with a 6.0 battery in it, it runs for quite a while.

The Good:I purchased this online as a kit a little more than a year ago and I absolutely love it! this is hands-down way better than Milwaukee’s Fuel M12 impact, which i own. I use it for doing HVAC work hanging ductwork. this is by far the best compact impact you can buy.The Bad:1- I now have two batteries that are going bad. after doing some online research there seems to be some issues with the contact points between the batteries and the impact itself. I always let the batteries run out before I charge them, and I never charge them using a generator. 2- my second issue, is the LED battery indicator lights on the side of the impact are almost nonexistent now. it’s getting extremely difficult to tell what the battery level is.overall would I recommend this to somebody else? Yes. I know the batteries are expensive to replace those and even with the LED indicator lights not working this is still a phenomenal impact.

Hello, I like the Milwakee M12 rotory tool, but wish Milwakee sold attachment of their own for their rotory tool. This way I wouldn’t have to shop all around to diffrent companies like Dremel for attachments.

I was concerned coming from a plugged rotary, but I am pleased with the power and battery life as well as the freedom from the outlet.
