This tool outputs over 1,300 in./lbs. of torque allowing users to get more work done by completing a wide range of fastening. The impact driver is only 5.1 in. L providing users with unmatched access in tight spaces. The POWERSTATE Brushless Motor delivers up to 0-3,300 RPM with constant power output to drive screws faster. REDLINK PLUS Intelligence is the most advanced Electronic system on the market, preventing damage to the tool and battery caused by overloading or overheating. M12 REDLITHIUM CP or XC Batteries (sold separately) provide users with more work per charge and more work over the life of the pack than competitive batteries on the market. 4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL provides users with greater control over output speed and power for greater versatility by delivering 0-1,300 RPM in Mode 1, 0-2,400 RPM in Mode 2 and 0-3,300 RPM in Mode 3. Mode 4’s Self-Tapping Screw Mode is designed to reduce walking when starting self-tapping screws as well as reduce overdriving, breaking and stripping out screws.

First of all, very compact and easily fits within my back pack. The short length of the driver allows me to still get at fixings in tight spaces.For HVAC one of the best facets is the little button on top to vary the torque on the driver. For typical panels held by 5/16 or 1/4 screws torque setting #2 is ideal without concentrating on over tightening fixings and stripping the threads out, even if someone has strained the threads out by overdoing it beforehandThis has the capability of any other 12v and even of some 18v driversFor installation work you’ll still probably need to go for an 18v, but this one isn’t far off. The light compact size is deceptive and a good work horse

I’ve been enjoying this little driver a lot, at first I wasn’t sure. Its slower than my M18 driver but it also fits in my pocket. Very handy to just drop in your tool pouch, it’s probably ¼ the weight and bulk of the 18v tool. It has no issues sinking 3″ grk screws continuously and has a surprisingly good battery life too.

This is a great little 12 bolt impact driver. The impact driver can handle most tasks but it does have it limits. It does not have quite the same power as the 18 volt impact driver so just be aware of that. The impact driver has 4 speed settings that are push button set. Overall a great light duty impact driver
