L providing users with unmatched access in tight spaces. The POWERSTATE Brushless Motor delivers up to 0-3,300 RPM with constant power output to drive screws faster. REDLINK PLUS Intelligence is the most advanced Electronic system on the market, preventing damage to the tool and battery caused by overloading or overheating. M12 REDLITHIUM CP or XC Batteries (sold separately) provide users with more work per charge and more work over the life of the pack than competitive batteries on the market. 4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL provides users with greater control over output speed and power for greater versatility by delivering 0-1,300 RPM in Mode 1, 0-2,400 RPM in Mode 2 and 0-3,300 RPM in Mode 3. Mode 4’s Self-Tapping Screw Mode is designed to reduce walking when starting self-tapping screws as well as reduce overdriving, breaking and stripping out screws.

Great, compact, light weight. Belt clip is good, power is ok. The light is a bit off and you end up working in shadows, but not terrible. Great for panel work and close quarters.

Keeps up with my older 18v tools from another brand. Fits on my pocket, and is light enough & comfortable enough it stays there in between uses everyday, even in and out of vehicles it doesn’t fall off. I used it to drive over 10lbs of 3″ x #9 deck screws on my front deck, and it performed without a hitch. I even tried it on some larger lags, and it did those better than my old 18v does!!I have since invested in the m18 line, and own over 30 milwaukee tools, corded and non, but this is my most used & one of my first cordless milwaukee tools.Cons; this might sound minor, but as it ages it tends to drop bits. This gets problematic, as since it’s on my pocket all day, & I am wearing hearing protection for the large machines & air tools, I don’t know where it falls out. we obviously can’t have a bit get into a tire by mistake, so wasted time searching for dropped bits.This is after a lot of use. 2 years of daily use 5 days a week in fact.The self tapper mode is super annoying. I haven’t found a single task it’s actually useful for, including self tappers, so when the tool gets bumped into it, that causes a fair bit of frustration at needing to remove it from whatever tight space it’s in, and reset back to one of the normal modes to finish the task. Again minor, but very frustrating when I really just want full power mode 100% of the time.

This is one of my favorite impact drivers, I compared this to one of my older m18 models and I was pretty impressed with how much power it has. It’s not quite as powerful as the older m18 models but has enough power for 90% of applications, I reach for this tool first unless I’m driving Bigger lags
