The Milwaukee M12 Cordless 2 Tool Combo Kit includes M12 FUEL 1/4 in. Hex Impact Driver (2553-20) and M12 Sub-Compact Band Saw (2429-20). M12 FUEL 1/4 in. Hex Impact Driver once again raises the bar for 12V performance with best in class driving speed, power and size. By focusing on productivity, this Impact Driver gets the job done faster by being over 20 percent faster in application speed vs. the competition. This tool outputs over 1,300 in. lbs. of torque that allows the user to get more work done by completing a wide range of fastening. Measuring only 5.1 in length allows for unmatched access in tight spaces. The POWERSTATE Brushless Motor delivers up to 0-3,300 RPM with constant power output to drive screws faster. The 4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL provides greater control over output speed and power for greater versatility by delivering 0-1,300 RPM in Mode 1, 0-2,400 RPM in Mode 2 and 0-3,300 RPM in Mode 3. M12 12-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Sub-Compact Band Saw (Tool-Only) cuts through small diameter materials with ease. Ideal for overhead cutting applications, this powerful saw can cut through 3/4 in. EMT in only 3 seconds and gets over 150 cuts per charge. Featuring a 1-5/8 in. x 1-5/8 in. cut capacity and low vibration, this saw also features a dual-latching lower guard that covers the blade outside the active cutting area, addressing OSHA guarding requirements and making this tool suitable for 1-handed use.

I’m a DIYer, so I don’t abuse my tools, but I’ve had reliability issues with other budget brands time and time again. The budget tools work fine in general, they just never seem to last. I’ve always used corded milwaukee power tools on the job, so I decided to gradually make the switch to the portable milwaukee 12v line for personal use. I have more confidence that these tools will last a very long time. There seems to be no power loss going from 20v to 12v and the tool is much lighter/smaller. The batteries seem to last longer and are cheaper to buy, which makes it all even sweeter. The fuel impact driver and screwdriver gets used most around the house and the ratchet gets used most on the vehicles. I have others, but these 3 are just perfect for the average person.
