The M12 FUEL 1/4 in. Hex Impact Driver once again raises the bar for 12-Volt performance with best in class driving speed, power, and size. By focusing on productivity, this Impact Driver gets the job done faster by being over 20% faster in application speed versus the competition. This tool outputs over 1,300 in./lbs. of torque that allows the user to get more work done by completing a wide range of fastening. Measuring only 5.1 in. L allows for unmatched access in tight spaces. The POWERSTATE Brushless Motor delivers up to 0-3,300 RPM with constant power output to drive screws faster. REDLINK PLUS Intelligence is the most advanced electronic system on the market, preventing damage to the tool and battery caused by overloading or overheating. For use with M12 REDLITHIUM Compact Batteries or Extended Capacity Batteries which deliver more work per charge and more work over the life of the pack than competitive batteries on the market. The 4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL provides greater control over output speed and power for greater versatility by delivering 0-1,300 RPM in Mode 1, 0-2,400 RPM in Mode 2 and 0-3,300 RPM in Mode 3. Mode 4 is Self-Tapping Screw Mode which is designed to reduce walking when starting self-tapping screws as well as reduce overdriving, breaking and stripping out screws. The impact driver is excellent and handy. Its easy to use. It could have been perfect if the tools was a bit scratch proof. It makes scratches if it touches concrete or rough surfaces. May rubber molding should be rather than hard plastic or metal.

I’ve been enjoying this little driver a lot, at first I wasn’t sure. Its slower than my M18 driver but it also fits in my pocket. Very handy to just drop in your tool pouch, it’s probably ¼ the weight and bulk of the 18v tool. It has no issues sinking 3″ grk screws continuously and has a surprisingly good battery life too.

I bought this set while it was on sale and feel it offers a great value for your dollar. I already own multiple Milwaukee drivers, but love how compact and powerful these are, so I generally keep one in different areas of the house, shed, garage so that they are handy when the need arises. I also love that this kit comes with 2 batteries, as you can never have enough M12 batteries laying around. The saw works great and has come in handy on multiple occasions. I’ve used it to cut up a pallet into more usable pieces of wood. I’ve also used it to help cut up cardboard for recycling. We bought a new house about 2 years ago and as we bought new things for the home, the cardboard packaging from everything really started to pile up. I used this saw to break down the larger boxes and flatten everything into bundles to put out for recycling. Small jobs, medium size jobs… this is a great homeowner tool. If you work in daily construction, you’ll probably want something a little bigger and more powerful.

The m12 fuel impact driver is my go to for 95% of my jobs from removing electrical plate screws to driving screws to fix fences. I keep a 6.0 battery on hand just in case i need a little extra power for the big jobs bit the smaller 2.0 is my main go to battery for comfort. The power this driver has for a 12 volt small hand tool is great and will do everything i need. If you are on the fence on getting the 12v or 18v, then get both but the 18v driver will collect dust until you have a big job that requires you to drive large lag bolts/screws all day. This 12v fuel driver is great for the diy to the professional. Great buy and the case is a bonus

So far so good, wanted the 18v but this was a great deal and I couldn’t pass it up. This little guy may be small, but it packs a punch. Really compact got between rafters with a bit extension no problem. Works great as a rough drill too, if you have the right bits. Looking for small and powerful this is the tool. Sure, it doesn’t pack as much power as it 18v brother (2853-20), but It does have a size advantage if you are working in limited space. As a bonus, it came with a hard case and not a soft bag. The 2553-22 kit or the 2553-20 tool only would be a great addition to your tool set.
