FYI I purchased this tool in June 20 this review is done in September 20. I was skeptical like everyone else is before they purchase 12-volt tools. I myself own numerous 18v tools. I have become accustomed to there power and torque. I have a friend who spoke highly of 12-volt power and versatility. I understand that the 18 volt and 12 volt systems are apples and oranges in terms of what you can throw at it. I was very very impressed with this tool. I will give you all a very good and very cost-effective way to utilize this tool in two ways being an impact wrench obviously and as well an impact driver. I just picked up a 3/8 in square x 1/4 hex shockwave impact adapter. I use this professionally as a contractor so weight is always a factor. Hey, guys get rid of some weight from the toolbox leave the impact driver at home. If you get this imp. wr. and purchase the adapter your savings alone there is a few hundred dollars. I love Milwaukee tools because everything they make is always multifunctional. I hope this helped.

Love this tool as a technician I use it everyday only thing I would change is that can break easily if grabbed at the bottom where the battery is located

So I got the M12 FUEL 3/8 ratchet and it works pretty well, has good power and does a good overall job, but its way to heavy to use all day. My drill driver weighs less than this thing. That really is the only negative about it. I was going to get the extended one and glad I didn’t because that’s even heavier. So its okay for using it on something specific, but not so good for trying to use all day long. They need to redesign this with more aluminum. I would recommend the non-FUEL version of the Milwaukee ratchet.

This impact wrench is extremely short and fits in very tight spaces. I have been impressed with the amount of torque this produces.
