The M12 FUEL Cordless Brushless 1/2 in. Stubby Impact Wrench is the industries most compact impact wrench on the market place. Measuring only 4.9 in. in length, this tool fits in tighter spaces, making users more productive. Increased torque delivers an industry leading 250 ft.-lbs. of breakaway torque, removing even the most stubborn bolts and fasteners. 4-Mode Drive Control, will allow unmatched control in various fastening applications. 1-3 RPM allows for precision control, and Auto-Shut Off Mode in the 4th setting will prevent over fastening of bolts while doing reassembly work.

I bought this tiny impact for smaller projects. After watching a ton of reviews with individuals removing axel and crank bolts. Time came I needed to replace my front and rear suspension of my 2500 hd. I live in north east and used this amazing impact the entire time. This tiny power removed every bolt and went places my mid or high torque m18 could not go. Granted slower then M18 impacts, as that comes with size and hammer blows. It removed every bolt. This impact has earned a permanent place in my truck box. From RVs to road side repairs, can not go wrong with stubby impact.

Exactly what I’ve come to expect from Milwaukee and their ‘Feul’ lineup. This thing packs a punch that is second to none in such a small size. 10/10 would recommend from Joe-Shmo to a professional looking to expand their tool selection. Bought the protective boot as well, but the factory rubber bumpers are in the likely impact zones and are very well built, they should withstand light to moderate use with little to no wear.

Does everything I expect of it in the shop small enough to get behind brake brackets and calipers to remove the bolts, Works on wheel bearing hubs and other close quarter areas on a car and no it’s not a ratchet wrench but still works well and has more torque and nut busting torque. Now what I don’t like is that my big hands hit the direction slide button for the forward and reverse they should put a raised tab just below the button so you don’t hit it accidentally. I still like it and use it every day.

While the tool does not seem to achieve the full 250 foot pounds of torque, it does do a very respectable job up to about 200-220 foot pounds of breakaway torque, which is more than I need for most applications. This is a must have tool if you work on cars a lot, as the size allows for access to most of the tightest places (and the ratchet can reach the rest!). I would recommend getting the locking pin version over the friction ring.

Awesome impact. Milwaukee hit a home run with these. It fits in almost all the small spaces and provides more than enough breakaway torque needed to loosen fasteners. If your thinking about buying one, you won’t be disappointed. I’d buy it again if I had to.
