Love this thing. Of all my tools i grab this every chance i get. Have turned 4 co workers onto it as well. And bought a second one myself. Must have for any blue collar working class person.. No matter the field or industry you work in, Milwaukee truly is the best in class and so is this tool

Busts lug nuts off no problem (2017 Forester and 2015 Rav4 so far). No nut it couldn’t bust off yet. I also go the Milwaukee Shockwave hex adapter and use this as an impact driver on setting 2.

I first bought the 3/8″ drive version for home and auto use. I took the 250ft/lb torque with a grain of salt since I figured they tested in a lab, and I don’t work in a lab. But when I tested it on my truck lug nuts, I found it would remove them fine. I still don’t know for sure the torque, but was pleased enough to go ahead and buy the 1/2″ drive version.

A lot of power for a stubby 12 volt impact wrench. Works best with the 4.0 amp to 6.0 amp/hour batteries.

First let me answer alot of peoples question between the 1/2 and the 3/8 model, i bought the 3/8 model about a week ago mainly to work on my car and to break lug nuts off cars. When i unboxed it i ran outside and tried it, it was able to take off the lug nuts off my car using a tekton Socket adapter set frommy local hardware store but than i tired it on my ford edge and my chevy trailblazer and i was upset it couldnt take them off!!! I spent a day watching youtube reviews between the 3/8 and the 1/2 so i took my chances returned the 3/8 model and purchased the 1/2 model online i got it the very next day and omg, this thing is incredibly powerful using the same exact sockets i was able to break the lug nuts off my edge and trailblazer, this wasnt a detailed test like they do on youtube but the main point is, the 3/8 couldnt do the job, the 1/2 did! Get the 1/2 it has more torque = more power

Not as much power as I expected. For $200 it should have more power.
