The M12 FUEL Cordless Brushless 1/2 in. Stubby Impact Wrench is the industries most compact impact wrench on the market place. Measuring only 4.9 in. in length, this tool fits in tighter spaces, making users more productive. Increased torque delivers an industry leading 250 ft.-lbs. of breakaway torque, removing even the most stubborn bolts and fasteners. 4-Mode Drive Control, will allow unmatched control in various fastening applications. 1-3 RPM allows for precision control, and Auto-Shut Off Mode in the 4th setting will prevent over fastening of bolts while doing reassembly work.

I bought the pin detent version and there is way to much tension from the spring for the pin. You have to use a punch to depress the pin through the hole in the socket to change the socket. Very inconvenient. I still may contact Milwaukee. The power and size of the gun is on point though.

Amazing tool that does a fantastic job. Excellent torque delivery.My only complaint is that Milwaukee has a promotion on the 2555 model (friction ring variant) but not on the 2555P model (pin detent variant). You get a free battery with the friction ring variant, but not with the pin detent model. They are even priced the same!!! For an avid Milwaukee tool collector, this is a BIG let down.

Just amazing, honestly, it’s an amazing impact wrench, wow!This little wrench is so powerful and useful words can’t describe it. It’s so easy to move around an engine and to put into small places, I don’t know how I ever existed without it, honestly, it’s such a fantastic wrench!I purchased the 1/2 inch impact wrench because I wanted the maximum power in this small a design. It’s got some weight to it, but I don’t believe that it’s something that’s not manageable. It’s definitely not the weight of a full bore impact drill, not even close! I have a larger corded Milwaukee Impact drill and it’s 5 times as heavy as the stubby.There are a ton of stubby tests that people have done on Youtube. The one that impressed me the most is a user did an extensive test to see how close the Stubby’s power is to what Milwaukee says it is. Long story short, the 1/2 inch stubby did better than was expected. It’s rated to 250 foot pounds, in the test the user had no issue what so every doing up to 260 foot pounds! When I saw that I was sold! I immediately went out and purchased one, and love it!

I feel that it is a wonderful tool. The down side to it is the amount of torque it produces. I was hoping to be able to use this lightweight tool to quickly and easily remove my wheels from my car when i do a rotation. That i am unable to do unless i break the lugs free first. It did cut my time down just wish it was able to pop them loose on its own. Even still i think its a great tool and will more than likely use it every chance i get.
