The Milwaukee M12 FUEL 3/8 in. and 1/2 in. Ratchets are the first cordless tools that provide both the torque and compact size to replace pneumatic ratchets in the industry. The M12 FUEL ratchets have a low profile head and cordless design which allows users more access in tight spaces than competitive units. With the industry leading FUEL technology, a reinforced mechanism and investment cast steel yoke housing, this rechargeable ratchet can withstand daily jobsite wear and tear for years of reliable use. Milwaukee’s cordless ratchet has eliminated the constant maintenance of pneumatic ratchets and the nuisance of an air hose in the shop. The M12 FUEL Ratchet delivers the maximum portability and productivity for the professional user. Also includes two M12 3.0 batteries.

I purchased this tool for my daughter to use while working on my truck after she broke it. This is not comparable to any impact out there on the market and yes you can hold a socket with your fingers while depressing the trigger. This tool was not designed for heavy use or for snugging up bolts but rather to run them in or out. It did work perfectly for my F350 torx bolts in the column. Swapped out a shift tube in record time.

Man what can i say!! This ratchet exceeded my expectations i do alot of engine work on heavy equipment and i did a top end rebuilt on 1 charge batt and on assembly it took everything very close to torque specs ranging 50 to 100 foot lbs and in the field u have to work around stuff and it did its job

I have “tennis elbow” that promotes a lot of discomfort down the length of my right arm (right-handed). When it was time for me to change the front two tires of my pickup truck I wanted to find a tool that was portable and lightweight, that could reduce the amount of arm movement as much as possible. I looked online at the multitude of other brands and this one seemed to be favored amongst the vast majority. I know that Milwaukee makes great tools that will only break your wallet once so I made the $200.00 investment (battery and charger not included). When unpackaged, I noticed that it had what appeared to be grease oozing out from the clutch housing. Once charged up I immediately put it to work. I wouldn’t use it for breaking lugs but it definitely saved me a lot of time and strain in my arm loosening them. So far I have used it on a truck, car, SUV, and a boat. As far as longevity goes it’s too soon to know. Highly recommended.
