I use this ratchet every day as an auto tech, along with several other m12 tools. It has more power than you need in 1/4 inch. It isn’t super fast free speed like snap on but is so much cheaper it’s great and an easy choice. Warranty is impressive too. I was worried about the head size, in the pics it looks the same as a 3/8, but it is NOT. It is half the size of the 3/8, super easy to fit in right spots. Everybody at my shop likes my Milwaukee stuff and some are converting over. They’re taking over in auto service, kicking the tool trucks butt every day.

This ratchet is great.Makes quick work of running out and tightening bolts.Just enough torque; and you can still use it like a regular ratchet for additional torque.So good I ended up getting the 3/8″ drive one as well. Light weight and the battery lasts a pretty good time.

I have the regular versions of this tool in 1/4 and 3/8 and seeing the progression of these I almost want to upgrade my oldest one but it just keeps working. I have to work on equipment designed by someone who has never had to service their designs so sometimes it is almost impossible to get to some fasteners. With this I was able to reach under my honey extractor and get all of the fasteners without moving position. I then tried it on some stuff at work and what a time saver, instead of trying to get creative with extensions I could just reach in with this and zip it off. I was also quite pleased with the power, but if you do happen to come across something that needs a bit more you can just use it as regular ratchet. Another little nice feature is the lock switch so you don’t wear out your battery if you drop it in a tool bag on they way to a remote job site. This got a place on my work truck next to the other sizes.
