The 2598-22 M12 FUEL Brushless 2-Tool Combo Kit is the Most Capable and Most Compact 12-Volt Hammer Drill Driver and Impact Driver Combo Kit on the market. Included is the M12 FUEL Hammer Drill Driver (2504-20), the Most Capable, Lightest Weight and Most Compact 12-Volt Hammer Drill Driver in the market. At only 6.6 and 2.8 lbs. of weight it is the best Hammer Drill Driver to use in compact spaces. It delivers the power to do a wide variety of applications at 1700 RPMs and 350 in./lbs. of torque. Also included, the M12 FUEL Hex Impact (2553-20), the Fastest Driving Speed, Most Compact with 4- Mode Drive Control Impact Driver in the market. At 3,300 RPM the impact drives screws over 20% faster than competitors. At 5.1 in. L it allows for unmatched access in tight spaces. The 4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL provides greater control over output speed and power for greater versatility by delivering 0 RPM to 1,300 RPM in Mode 1, 0 RPM to 2,400 RPM in Mode 2 and 0 RPM to 3,300 RPM in Mode 3. Mode 4 is Self-Tapping Screw Mode which is designed to reduce walking when starting self-tapping screws as well as reduce overdriving, breaking and stripping out screws.

Wonderful kit overall, drill chuck doesn’t grip bits well, but the impact and driver are awesome!Tried using drill for minor audio installs, and it struggles to hold small bits in sheet metal. Ive had more success using the “drill” mode on the driver for self tapping screws.

Amazing power, definitely my preferred set over my “20v” impact and drill for a smaller job. They’re extremely compact with an incredible amount of torque – you can snap a fastener very easily with the impact. I love that you can adjust the fastening speed and torque. LED light is very bright.Both tools are very lightweight, the belt clips fits nicely and is balanced even with a 6.0 battery on it. M12 batteries are so compact compared to my “20v” it’s almost laughable – extreme convenience when you’re lugging tools from job site to job site. Hammer drill is definitely great for wood though, it has caught and bound, stalled up a few times drilling 3/8″ into double / triple studs of old growth cedar. For masonry 5/32″-1/4″ but don’t expect it to drill 3/8″-1/2″ holes very easily. Used a 1/2″ it on some red brick (which is typically very soft) with a 6.0 you could tell it was really trying hard. On hammer mode it is also not very loud which is nice – great tool for 1/4″ tapcons etc. Overall incredible set, super happy with it especially on sale. Would recommend to anyone looking for the most extreme power to size/weight ratio in a drill / impact driver combo. If it’s a light job, I’m bringing these and the Fuel Hackzall.
