The drill itself is not bad, great power to chew through aluminum even with a 1/2″ bit. However, if you use smaller bits you notice a fair bit of run-out from the chuck as it rotates which makes drilling fine holes difficult. Even if using a self centering drill bit you need to use a center punch to make a pilot otherwise the bit walks off.

Milwaukee has really been turning out some great stuff. I’ve been a contractor for over 30 years and these are some of the best cordless tools I’ve had!

Love it…Just right for stuff around the house and much more. I’ve had my other Milwaukee drill for almost 10 years and it is still going strong.

The drill works great every time but the light is a good thing but doesn’t shine where I need it. The battery’s don’t last very long but when using the drill a lot of course they won’t last but if using a m18 5.0 battery on the drill the battery will last a couple of hours. The charger work great and charges the battery’s very fast.

LOVE! Got this (and the Milwaukee Shockwave Impact Duty Driver Steel Bit Set) to reinstall huge closet shelving that fell down in apartment. Watched a youtube tutorial and wanted a drill to get into studs. LOVE THIS! Also used as screwdriver (my first automatic screwdriver!) Already had battery and charger for flashlight so price was good. Milwaukee rules!

This is a good, stout tool. Working commercial construction, I put it through just about as much of a wringer as anyone, and it holds up well. I’ve dropped it a million times without hurting it, and I get surprisingly long use out of each battery charge. I left it outdoors in the weather for 2 or 3 weeks and it worked but the jaws were seized so I thought it was trashed. After hosing the chuck down with WD 40 and letting it sit for a few days, I was able to free them up with a couple of taps with a small hammer–bingo! It works fine again. I can’t say it’s perfect, because nothing is perfect, but I don’t think I’ve ever used anything better.
