Product is good but I have had two of these and the gears stripped after 6 months. There is no point having a great tool and short changing the internals. I used this tool drilling anything and everything (cement, steel, wood) on a daily basis.

This is a great tool: Powerful. Practical. Heavy Duty.I have a 20V Black & Decker Matrix Drill/Driver Combo kit that I’ve been using around the house for over a year and I really like it for the price. But this 18V Milwaukee tool is a different beast. It is more powerful, more practical and has more options:- I don’t have to interchange attachments to change from drill to driver or the other way around. I can do that simply using the selector switch (see pic).- This also has a hammer option for those tasks when you need it. Just use the selector switch (see pic)- Has a selector switch for different speed ranges (0-450rpm or 0-1800rpm).- Has the option to select the different types of applications.- Has an LED light at the bottom.- Compact and fits well in the hand.Comes with:- 2 Lithium-Ion Batteries (18V)- Hard Shell Carrying Case- Heavy Duty ChargerRecommended tool!

I had this model for 3 years now. It’s my first drill and I love it. After a short period of time the chuck became wobbly. Since I was working on project I could not return it. After a while I got the chuck replaced. The issue reminaed. Then the tool was replaced by service. The issue was less pronounced but than it came back. Now I was really upset and shipped my tool to Milwaukee for repair. I got back a newer model. I have to say the light alignment is better. The unit is much smaller and great small case. The power is still there. What I love the most is the new multi-speed chuck. I can control the speed of the drill with the triger with awesome acuracy even in 2 speed. Amazing.——Sadly, the chuck is still wobbly—- Milwaukee I love you and will stay with you a bit longer, (I have many other tools from Milwaukee). BUT PLEASE FIX THE CHUCK. It such an important part of the drill that it needs to stay true and not wobbly. Since this drill has been already updated, I hope the newer model will no longer have that issue.

The chuck is week, One has to keep tightening the Chuck all the time or else the drill bits will fall out.

Milwaukee 2704-22 M18 Fuel 1/2″ Hammer Drill/Driver Kit. This is a really nice drill. Very powerful. Comfortable to grip. It really gets the job done. The price was very competitive as compared with others.The kit comes with a Handle for those big jobs as well as Two 4.0 AH Battery packs belt clip and a carry case. I think this is a great value.
