Milwaukee 2704-22 M18 Fuel 1/2″ Hammer Drill/Driver Kit. This is a really nice drill. Very powerful. Comfortable to grip. It really gets the job done. The price was very competitive as compared with others. The kit comes with a Handle for those big jobs as well as Two 4.0 AH Battery packs belt clip and a carry case. I think this is a great value.

If you are looking for dependability and quality Milwaukee is the best in the business. You may pay a little more but they are worth it and they stand by their products.

The drill/driver is very versatile and holds the charge quite well. It is a very comfortable drill. Th handle fits well in your hand. They do take a beating. I have seen them drop off of ladders and survive. Mine sits in very hot and very cold temperatures in my work truck. Other than letting it warm up for a few minutes when the temps are below zero it keeps on working.School Dist. Maintenance

This hammer drill has awesome power, decent battery life, and is very comfortable to use. Once again, Milwaukee has surpassed my expectations. The drill comes with a hard case, a charger, and two compact 2.0 Ah batteries. I had both batteries completely charged in under an hour. The charger can also handle M12 batteries as well. There are three selectable modes of operation: screwdriver with 18 clutch settings, regular drill, and drill with hammer action. I started with the regular drill setting, and bored a dozen holes through a 2×4 with a 1/2″ bit without a problem. Then I turned the 2×4 on its side and drilled through the long way once. On the second hole it hit a knot and stalled – with enough torque to just about wrench the whole thing out of my hand. Once I turned on the hammer function, it blasted right through without another issue. In total, I drilled 12 holes through the 1.5″ direction, and 4 holes through the 3.5″ direction. Afterwards, the battery was registering between 1/2 and 3/4 charge – it gave me two 1/2 readings when I checked, but after 15 minutes of sitting idle it registered 3/4. Maybe hit had something to do with the battery temperature. I think the battery life is satisfactory for basic DIY use, but if you’re a professional, you may want to spring for the kit with the 4.0 Ah batteries. The only disappointment I had was that the drill doesn’t come with a belt clip, which I found for another $9 online. The screw holes are there for mounting one, but the actual clip isn’t included with the kit. There also isn’t any place on the drill that holds a screwdriver bit, but then again, it’s a hammer drill and not an impact driver.

This is the second drill like this I have bought. Used the first drill over 8 years and it died. Great drill.
