Never knew I needed one of these until I did a bathroom remodel. My regular drill would not go where I needed it to, so I did some research and found this guy. Amazing where you can go with it. I needed to replace the exhaust fan, but again my drill would not fit, this fit perfectly in the hole and I was able to screw in the mounting screws with ease. Next job was connecting the bathroom cabinets. My drill was a good fit, until I came to the cabinet of drawers, again this guy came through with flying colors. I am sure I will find more jobs that this will be the perfect tool for.

My home workshop was destroyed during Hurricane Michael. I purchased a 10′ x 20′ portable building and needed to wire the building for lights and receptacles. I had tons of Milwaukee tools and batteries, BUT not a right angle drill for drilling the studs in tight places. I purchased this drill specifically for this job, but knew I would need it again in the near future. I just completed the job this weekend and LOVED my Milwaukee right angle drill! This drill does not have a traditional clutch system and will simply stop running and flash a red light, once you’ve reached maximum torque. This worked extremely well and I never missed the traditional clutch in the least. The biggest learning curve was the chuck, as I’ve always used one hand to hold the chuck and tighten it, as I pull the trigger with my other hand. DO NOT do this with this drill, as it is equipped with “ratcheting type” tightening system that allows you to simply insert the bit and twist the chuck. You will hear it click up until the point the bit is tight in the chuck. We used both 3/4 and 5/8 wood and auger bits for this job. The drill had plenty of power to drill though single and double studs effortlessly. The auto-on LED light was a great help seeing in those really dark corners too! I can highly recommend Milwaukee’s M18 right angle drill to anyone with a need to work inside cabinets, between studs or rafters or any other tight work area. Simply another great Milwaukee power tool!!!
