4 stars for service 3 stars for the product. They work good but you have to baby it a bit. If you push it too hard they burn out really fast (especially with big window/door bits). Milwaukee has great customer service and I have replace 3 or 4 now with no issue. By the way Dewalt isn’t any better they go out just as fast. There needs to be some R&D in making more durable drywall cut out tools.

So far it’s been working like a champ but as I learned from past battery chargers is you need to remove the full charged battery once the charging cycle is done. If not your batteries will die out prematurely if you leave it on an energized charger. So now I only buy Milwaukee Power Tools because the previous power tool company i was loyal to (think blue) said their chargers were “smart” and stopped charging the battery when full…well their blue charger was full of ****… Only buy Milwaukee and you save dollars in the long run…

Was rated online to be the #1 battery powered impact driver for automotive work and I believe it. Easily broke loose the tight nuts and bolts on my pickup and made that part of the job a breeze. The different power settings were amazing. Highly recommend.

Milwaukee tools are always the best – rugged, durable, functional. The 2.0Ah battery came in my kit, but it is only suitable for small projects with short use time. The 5.0Ah provides enough runtime to complete several hours of intermittent use (seems like much more than 2.5 time the 2.0Ah). By the time the 5.0Ah has run down, then other batteries can be charged and ready to go. A bit expensive but overall worth it for professional quality.

Bought this to use with my 18v 1/2 in drive impact gun. Was cheaper to get this kit and the impact kit(including one battery) than to get the impact with 2 batteries. Excellent quality as always. I have 5 milwaukee tools and the collection will be getting bigger

Very disappointed in the purchase of the the Milwaukee router advertising. Although it just says Router only one would assume battery was with it because it mentions it. Way over price for battery and charger I had to purchase.

I purchased the Millwaukee 18V battery and charger combination. I brought it home, plugged it in to charge the batter. Initially everything seemed fine, the red charging light came on and I had about 25% charge on the battery to start with. A while later I went to check on it, all the lights were were out, no green light to indicate that the charge was complete. I checked the battery and it was only 50% charged, the charger had broken. I went on line and found out that this seems to be a common problem with the Rapid Charge units, I ready many comments about this problem, including here. I returned the unit the next day to Home Depot, and got a new one, this one seems to be fine, battery fully charged in a short period of time, green indicator light came on. I have mixed feelings about recommending this charger, it seems kind of hit or miss if the one you purchase has a problem, Milwaukee needs to address this issue, I expect better quality from them.

The tool itself is typical milwaukee nice. But dont but this if you plan on doing cutouts to wood. I was attempting to do cutouts in 1/2 inch plywood and had a wood bit. I moved so slow if I went any slower I’d be stopped. I went through a bit every 6-12 inches. Some bits lasted longer, a couple only a couple inches. Infuriating and ridiculous. Did not use the tool for drywalls. Returned and used my milwaukee jigsaw which is amazing.

I don’t have any real problems with the battery other than you have to buy it in order to get a charger. My old charger lasted about 1 year before not charging anymore. The chargers individually, are probably available somewhere but never when you need it. I’m not really sure if I reccomend this or not, even though I’ll say yes, because the batteries have been great.
