Installing a standing seam metal roof, making the long parallel 20 foot cuts is fast and easy. Not great for the perpendicular cuts, works fine for the field cuts but had to bust out the hand shears to get over the ribs at each end. The roof material is 26 ga and no problem for this beast, I have cut approx 60 short end cuts and 6 long cuts. Decided on the double cut head (vs. single cut) based on reviews and so far no regrets. Already had Milwaukee M18 tools so this was a nice addition to the set.

We purchased this to replace manual shears to cut 26 ga aluminum at one of our rollforming lines and we have found it to be much faster and improving operator ergonomics. Additionally it uses the same Milwaukee batteries we have for other tools so no new special charging stations and batteries.
