This is a great purchase. But there are 2 things I wish would be improved but very minor. First the dust collector will come off if not seated properly. Second, with the dust collector on, you can only fit 5.0 batteries or smaller. I tried with my 6.0 HO and the dust collector will not seat. Otherwise, my wife and I were able to use it and achieve great results.

After just purchasing a new home, this has done wonders for me – whether I’m sanding drywall/spackling, or just plain wooden boards.

Bought this sander because I needed to take the finish on a set of double doors down to the grain, Using 60 grid sanding decks this was made very easy. I used 2 4 hour battery packs and 2 hour pack to get the job done. Very reliable and I highly recommend this tool. I changing all my power tools to Milwaukee!

Not a tool that I use a lot, but another good product Milwaukee made for the job ! Love not having the air hose hanging from my tool and how quieter this sander is from my air sander.

I have been looking for a really good orbital sander. Overall, this is a great sander. It is very well balanced and the vibration is not bad at all. Even after 30 minutes, my hand is not numb like other sanders. The only con, well not really a con I guess since just about every sander is the same is that it drains the battery pretty quickly. I have 1.5 amp batteries and it last between 20-30 mins. I would probably recommend 3 or 5 amp battery if you are sanding a lot of wood.Overall, I am very satisfied with this sander and would definitely recommend it.

It is a mazing little sander, works great and there is no cord that gets in the way. And you can hook it A vac.

Had difficulty figuring out & switching the PLASTIC dust atchmts. Dust filter is nice, but not enough suction when vertical. Vac hose pulled the atchmt loose & hit ground hard. Would like D-ring on sander to tie it off to prevent dropping. Sanding surface is very flat and I like everything else.

The sander itself works well, cordless life on a 3.0ah battery is respectable. I used this to sand my kitchen cabinet frames. Unfortunately, the dust collection system is horrid. Hooked up to a Makita dust collector, the sander still throws a decent amount of dust out the ports around the front of the sander from time to time. The worst part is that the proprietary connector (square) for the dust collectors is extremely weak and only pushes in without a clasp of any sort. So what happens is that the hose connection eventually falls out of the sander, very annoying. If you’re using a dust collector avoid this sander. If you’re using the included dust box, it’s probably fine.

Works great when attached to a shop vac. When it is attached to the included filter though that filter doesn’t seem to be very effective. Fighting the vac cord does make maneuvering the sander more inconvenient. It also will chew through some batteries during use. I used the 5 amph batteries and would get less than 30 minutes of actual run time

Really good tool, the rpms are great and combined with the cordless vacuum is really good quality
