I love this brand. But it seems like a whole batch of their impact drivers skipped quality control. The forward and reverse switch was so loose I thought it was going to fall out if I tipped it sideways. Aside from that everything seemed ok. But I returned it for a Rigid brand instead. Much happier.

The nut removal speed option button is worth its weight in gold. When removing my lug nuts it bites them off then slows to a controllable speed automatically so you don’t strip or lose the nut. Just keep the trigger squeezed and the tool is smarter than you….! Amazing!

First, I HUNT BARGAINS! Especially with tools! I buy ONLY THE BEST but more importantly I don’t need the fight with the “Better Half!” In bought 2 of these, in actual fact 3 (went back for the last one), THE PRICE WAS RIGHT FOR JUST THE BATTERIES ALONE. SOLD THE CHARGERS AND 2 OF THE IMPACT WRENCHES, I have the 8 station charger for both 12v and 18v. I took this item and tested the Impact Driver(ID) on my tests station, 1/4″ stainless steel 8″ x 18″ with pre-drilled holes for different size bolts up to a 3/4″. 6 each size from 1/8″ to 3/4″. I proceeded to start with the 1/4″ bolts and drive them hard, then the 1/2″ and finally the 3/4″. Save YOUR Ears, where ear plugs or headsets. I also choose to use this how I would use it, continuously until warm/hot to touch. FLAWLESS, TESTED THE END BREAKING POINT using my hand torque wrench. +/- 1# pressure to tighten and loosen. VERY HAPPY WITH the wrench and results. I still use my V series drills, I rebuild the batteries! Now that I’ve played with both the ID, it time to read the manual! Personally, although all I wanted was the batteries, I can see some use for the ID and having abused the ID, I know it produced what I ask of it. Should you find this item for ~$125 buy it, the batteries cost more individually. HAMMIT, WAY TO GO HM DEPOT, PICTURES, AFTER YOU’VE CLEANED UP AND WRITTEN A REVIEW. WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR!!
