The M18 Cordless 2-Speed 1/4 in. Hex Impact Driver Kit offers incredible performance and power-to-size ratio. Featuring a Milwaukee-built 4-pole frameless motor and optimized impact mechanism, this impact driver delivers up to 2750 RPM, 3450 IPM and 1500 in. lbs. of fastening torque for class-leading performance. Its unique design offers multiple speed/torque modes through proprietary 2-mode drive control and also features REDLINK Intelligence, providing overload protection using total system communication between the tool, battery and charger. For convenience, an all-metal, reversible belt clip is also included for temporary tool storage.

Plenty of torque, batteries charge fast. Milwaukee doesn’t mess with battery connector design like competitors so I expect to wear out the driver before access to new batteries is a problem and all my Milwaukee batteries fit all my Milwaukee power tools.

It is powerful and since I have 2 batteries, I can get most projects around the house done with out having to use a corded drill.. You can purchase bigger batteries, which I will do. And then I will look into buying other tools that use the same batteries.Great Tool, you need to add this to your tool bag.

I bought some hex socket adapters and use it to work on my car. This can remove old rusted bolts pretty well, I have come across a few that gave me a hard time but overall it works well. Everything seems well built, nice case and I like that it came with two batteries.

I opted to pick up the driver and wait for a comparable drill special in the future.This thing is great. Lots of power and drives fast. Even with the speed set to 1 you’ll be impressed. As others mentioned I prefer this style speed switch on the base of the unit.I can understand where some reviewers comment on the quality, however, I feel this is all relative in the industry and Milwaukee still has a higher build quality than the rest in my opinion. If you’re looking for a rugged little powerhouse, this is your driver.

I just love the Milwaukee M18 products as the batteries charge up quickly and they are all interchangeable between tools. The quality of the tool out does all its competitors in my opinion. I use it almost every day in my workshop restoring Pinball games. Bought at half price at $89 and it is the best drill/driver I own. Use it exclusively now for everything. Perfect size. Excellent power, battery lasts a long time when driving 3″ drywall screws in to old yellow pine. Runs even longer when used in the “whitewood” 2 x 4’s. Can’t beat the deal at half price. If you find this on sale around $100, buy it.
