You’ll get consistent speed control between 0-1900 RPM and 0-2200 IPM with the variable-speed trigger. The 2662-20 has a 1/2” anvil with detent pin to ensure maximum socket retention. I love this tool. Very strong but lightweight. I would strongly recommend this impact. My only complaint is the détente pins don’t last very long. I didn’t want to get the friction ring because I work in the air. Last place you want to have a socket fall off. The détente pins wear to a point making it difficult to remove sockets. Maybe use some harder steel.

This thing works pretty good but the pin detent is tricky to use, I’ll probably end up finding an old drill bit or other pin like object to keep with it so I can press the detent pin down and remove the socket from the end.

I was think about buying snap on or Cornwell cordless wrench found that Home depot had the tool only for the third of the price which both were selling for over 500.00. Had purchase hammer drill with hc capacity battery so I purchase it and receive it really quick, when I took it to work I had a crowd stand around ready to see how it perform it’s rated at 450 flbs so I started to remove a wheel lug nut on a transit bus that just been torque to 500 foot lbs and everyone mouth drop to the floor they couldn’t believe it so I tried another nut and got the same result if you are a serious professional you need to invest in this tool

Received the tool and put it to the test on some heavily rusted 5/8″ bolts without using any penetrating oil or break free, if it didn’t break them loose, it broke them. I currently own two brand name impacts (corded & cordless), they’re not bad, but this 1/2″ Milwaukee impact is by far more superior especially in power which makes me one very happy camper.

It will break most large lugnuts, really handy in a hand held battery tool. The battery life is outstanding for the work it gets done. We frequently use it to break loose old stuck differential plugs on large trucks. The 18V 1/2″ Milwaukee is my favorite power tool.

I bought this tool 2 months ago and it really helps me speed up the process on driving lag bolts (almost a foot long) to fasten 6×6 wood attached to the deck beam and post as support. I recently used this tool to loosen tire lug nuts (changing tire from summer to winter) to our vehicles as well as used by my neighbors on removing rusted tire lug nuts and it was flawless.

It has plenty of torque to loosed even the most rusty, stubborn lug nuts. It is perfect for those times you need to take a wheel off in the parking lot so there is no need to drag an air hose out.
