High-Torque Impact Wrench features a Milwaukee 4-pole motor and powerful impact mechanism to deliver a reliable 450 ft. lbs. of torque with maximum run time. The REDLITHIUM Extended Capacity Battery Pack delivers more work per charge and more work over pack life than the competitors, as well as best-in-class performance in extreme jobsite conditions. You’ll get consistent speed control between 0-1900 RPM and 0-2200 IPM with the variable-speed trigger. The 2662-22 has a 1/2 in. anvil with detent pin to ensure maximum socket retention. The M18 Impact Wrench’s onboard, real-time battery fuel gauge helps you monitor the charge precisely, so there’s less downtime on the job. Lightweight and portable, with superior ergonomics, this 18-Volt cordless power tool offers ultimate comfort during prolonged use. I bought a combo pack that had 2 batt, charger, sawsall, drill, small impact, an light. The tools are great, I hope the batteries are as good as they claim.

I just got this tool “bare tool” no battery I was planning to use it with my M18 compact batteries but I have read that it needs the M18 high capacity XC battery well I tried it with the compact battery I had on hand it seems to work fine maybe it does not have the maximum power or will run the battery down faster but it removed a lug bolt from one of my large tractors with little effort all the lights were still on on the battery afterwards and as for the pin detent I can seewhere this might slow you down a little but so does lookingfor sockets that have been slung off my impact wrenchesand lost in combines or in the dirt you can always usea short extension on the wrench that you can change sockets on fast.

I was think about buying snap on or Cornwell cordless wrench found that Home depot had the tool only for the third of the price which both were selling for over 500.00. Had purchase hammer drill with hc capacity battery so I purchase it and receive it really quick, when I took it to work I had a crowd stand around ready to see how it perform it’s rated at 450 flbs so I started to remove a wheel lug nut on a transit bus that just been torque to 500 foot lbs and everyone mouth drop to the floor they couldn’t believe it so I tried another nut and got the same result if you are a serious professional you need to invest in this tool

I should have bought this thing a long time ago! I own a professional automotive shop. This impact is a great deal at a great price. It has plenty of torque to loosed even the most rusty, stubborn lug nuts. It is perfect for those times you need to take a wheel off in the parking lot so there is no need to drag an air hose out. Plus, its a pleasure to not hear the air compressor kick on all the time! A must have for the professional or the DIY’er!

I’m a Diesel tech by trade, so this particular tool is very necessary when working on big equipment. I was leary at first. I wasn’t sure about battery versus air. No concerns necessary. This gun will deliver the needed torque everytime. The batteries have a handy charge-indicator button so you are aware of battery life. The only suggestion I have is to get the friction fit model. The detent can be annoying and difficult to use, but it certainly does provide a secure fit for the socket.

Received the tool and put it to the test on some heavily rusted 5/8″ bolts without using any penetrating oil or break free, if it didn’t break them loose, it broke them. I currently own two brand name impacts (corded & cordless), they’re not bad, but this 1/2″ Milwaukee impact is by far more superior especially in power which makes me one very happy camper.

I really wanted a solid cordless impact. I am a weekend shade tree mechanic without a compressor. I wanted to be able to take tires off and do some heavy duty things. I was not disappointed. Came with 2 batteries, charger and unit. Charges fast and removed almost everything I threw at it. Even ran a ball joint puller most of the way. Would definitely recommend!
