This is one awesome tool. It seems to be the best built Milwaukee tool that I have.

It’s a great tool to have. There’s a rubber piece that goes on the 90 but that comes off instantly and they are all like that. I’m not sure what the purpose of it is for, but if it was intended for that to stay on they need to glue it on or something because it comes right off.

Seems ok. I kept hitting the reverse button when using it. That’s why the three stars

Not as powerful as I had hoped but works great in a tight spot

This is the first review I have provided on any of the more then 15 m18 tools I have so bear with me on this. This tool has quickly become a favorite for working around tight spaces, specifically cabinets, when a regular impact driver or drill is too cumbersome. The performance is excellent and does as it should (spec wise) under normal use. The only thing that bothers me about this tool is the rubber grommet piece that surrounds the ring near the chuck. This has fallen off under very normal use multiple times and is an annoyance when your focusing on finish work. I would recommend this tool but hope Milwaukee retools where the rubber piece is or provides a tighter fit to prevent it from coming off.

This right angle driver is thoughtfully designed. Speed 1 provides impact driving, while speed 2 provides higher speed drilling capability. The forward – lock – reverse switch can be adjusted easily near the main power control paddle. The power status button provides the user with a four-light gauge that measures the remaining battery strength. I bright LED light shines on the work surface while the tool is running. The driver has a long power control paddle that fits nicely under the fingers while gripping the tool. The curved right angle fits comfortably in the palm to control the tool during use. Bits are changed easily with the quick release chuck. The tool feels solid in the hand, but is light weight. Clips for holding a couple of drill bits down by the battery would have been a nice touch.

Does not have much torque, was very disappointed.

The drill is very strong but little bit big to get to tight space I think I’ll need the m12 is better for my need

Great product, broke those nasty rusted bolts free, great torque

Awesome tool. The only thing that I would change is the fwd/rev switch if possible. Hard to switch with one hand.

The battery gets in the way of getting close to a corner. You can turn the head, but then the light isn’t in the correct place. The battery should go on from the back!

I used this impact driver in a compact space to drive in screws and it did it with ease. Very pleased with this product.

Handy tool

My buddy has the earlier version (M12) and not only does it have a built in ratcheting mechanism, which is helpful, it’s smaller and lighter, which means it’s easier to handle. I have already standard-ized on the M18 system, so this new ratchet is useful, but a bit heavy. It will save me time.

Great. Heavy duty.

I love this driver. It’s great for working on wall studs in tight spaces. My only complaint is that the speed selector won’t stay locked in to place. It’s too easy knock the selector into a different position by either bumping the tool or inadvertently hitting the switch. If it had a more positive locking switch for the speed selector this tool would be a 5 star all the way.
