The 2668-20 M18 Cordless 2-Speed 3/8 in. Right Angle Impact Wrench offers users maximum access, and ultimate speed and control over their hard to reach fastening applications. Its 1.7 in. head profile fits where pistol-grip impact tools cannot, and its extended paddle switch allows tradesmen to operate their tool from multiple grip points. This is the only tool in its class to offer multiple speed/torque modes through proprietary 2-Mode Drive Control. REDLINK Intelligence provides optimized performance and overload protection using total system communication between tool, battery and charger. The M18 Cordless 2-Speed 3/8 in. Right Angle Impact Wrench features an LED Light to illuminate work surfaces.

I have both of Milwaukee”s M12 ratchets in 1/4 and 3/8th variety. When I saw this M18 impact tool was going to be available, I was eager to try it out. I’m a mechanic at a local dealership so thats given me plenty of opportunities to use it within the week that I’ve had it. I must say that I was hoping this tool would have more power. There were a few 10-12mm bolts that this tool couldn’t break loose on a radiator support I was removing. The 60 ft/lb rating seems a bit over rated. Its great for speed when running bolts or nuts down or out, but nut busting torque- this tool lacks. Also, the head doesn’t lock down so bolts cant be manually loosened or tightened. My 3/8th M12 cordless ratchet was more useful than this tool in almost every way. I’m going to return it.

The built and the quality of the wrench is excellent as you would expect from other milwaukee tools. The kit comes with a M18 battery, bare tool, charger and a sturdy carrying case. The battery is a standard M18 battery which you can use with other milwaukee M18 tools. Coming to the applicaiton part, the wrench is insanely powerful. The right angled design allows you to access hard to reach nuts and bolts. It also has a LED light to illuminate the dark areas. I tried it on a couple of rusted nuts and it opened them up easily. It has a switch to select speed at the bottom of the wrench. Overall a must have if you are looking for an impact wrench for those hard to reach places.

This impact is not exactly what I expected but it does do great at running bolts in and out. It’s not so good at breaking bolts loose but it does the job ok after bolts are broke loose.

I am an electrical contractor / electrician, I use this tool frequently to install ¼” diameter 3/8” hex head screws to mount panels, assemble the connection plates on bus duct, install uni-strut conduct racks, I have not had any problems tightening various fasteners…I don’t believe this tool was manufactured for use by truck, heavy equipment or car mechanics, those trades obviously require tools with higher nut busting torque…The best situation would be use the correct tool for the task…Would you haul 800 pounds of concrete blocks in a Mini Cooper…

This is a great tool for those tight apps, the only thing would change is the head position …. The battery sticks out as far as the head and makes it difficult when the entire tool is in the body of something being attached the head should be 180 Degrees of its position or adjustable in my professional opinion …All and all it works well like most everything in the M18 line …
