   This is a powerful strong cable cutter. From the get go, it was easy to line up and cut straight without any fuss. This design of the cutter allowed for easy entry into the trench that we dug for the cable without having to dig out more to give the tool more room. The battery lasted us for more cuts than we needed and the charger charged up the battery super fast.

   The Milwaukee M18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Cable Cutter With CY/AL Jaws with(1) 2.0Ah Battery, Charger, Hard Case is hands down one of the best tools I have gotten in a while.Even on MCM750 cables the machine doesn’t struggle to cut it through with its 6 tons of cutting force. It creates a nice, relatively clean cut, better than I could ever get it with other tools.The battery lasts me through a full day, even with some overtime. If you cut more, you can easily swap the battery (only one included) an be going again.The case has room for additional jaws an other not included parts. The Charger charges besides the M18 battery also M12 batteries, which is handy for older tools.The tool is relatively light weight, which makes a huge difference after a long day.

   Cutting sizeable cables manually can be a chore. Even using geared manual cutters requires a lot of strength and it is no fun doing that outside in the deep of winter. Milwaukee has introduced a brilliant solution to the problem described. A cordless, portable cable cutting kit that will deal with copper and aluminum cables up to 750 MCM for copper or 1000 MCM for aluminum.The tool is heavy but it is pretty well balanced and very easy to use, successfully cutting cable time after time after time. The 2.0 Ah Lithium Ion battery charges quickly in the dedicated charger and Milwaukee boast 250 cuts per charge. The included carrying case holds everything and there is space to add additional jaw sets. A hex key needed to replace the cutting blades is also included. With ONE-KEY technology the tool can be inventoried and tracked using the app.

   The Milwaukee M18 Cordless Cable cutter is a game-changing tool for professionals or hardcore homeowners wanting more efficiency, comfort and ergonomics out of their employees. Although it can be used for other applications, this tool kit comes equipped with jaws for cutting sizable MCM copper or Aluminum wire (up to 750 MCM). The jaws can be replaced with other models that would allow the tool to be used for cutting ACSR, Guy Wire and fine stranded AWG wire. I found the tool especially useful for ergonomics and tight spaces. This is the perfect tool for tight spaces where a manual (Ratcheted) cable cutter could not be used. I ran the tool through 100 (unloaded, no cable cutting) cycles and the battery was still running strong. Milwaukee advertises 250 cuts, but I am sure that is dependent on the size of cable being cut. Regardless, it provides for enough battery to last days of work. The kit comes with a very nice storage case, which makes it very convenient to transport from one job to another, or to store away. They also equipped the cutter with their one-key technology, which allows for WIFI tracking of the tool through a smart phone application.

   This is a pretty powerful cable cutter with quite impressive power on battery operated device.A few features I liked were that the cutting jaw automatically opens at the end of each cut making it super quick. The weight and shape make one handed handling easy and maneuvering into tight spots. There’s a few places it cuts time drastically- like demo above a ceiling or runs at the panel. The Battery they say it lasts 250 cuts, it does have a battery capacity indicator light but I haven’t tested more than a half hour yet. Overall it seems they definitely put some on the job thought into putting together this cutter. I also like the one key tracking on it, but I do wish it had a longer range but it makes tracking easier than our current barcode system. It also deters theft. check out my quick sample video.

   The M18 18-VOLT LITHIUM-ION CORDLESS CABLE CUTTER WITH CY/AL JAWS WITH ONE 2.0 AH BATTERY, CHARGER, HARD CASE is very nice. It gives nice smooth cuts. The ergonomics is great. Fits my hand like a glove and is balanced perfect. I have used the cutter to cut copper cable as well as 3.8 inch rebar. It cuts all with no problem. I do think that I will be ordering the larger cutting head for cutting 1/2 inch rebar. If anybody is doing any demolition this is the tool to have.

They develop products with up-to-date technology.The performance is unparalleled.I have many of the tools that is manufactured by Milwaukee, and none of them have ever failed on me; I love them.Now, about this tool: It is a great help for the professional job as an electrician. It is really amazing how clean a cut this tool can make.I can cut an electrical cable upto 0.86″ copper or 1″ aluminum in less than 3 seconds.Even though it is heavy, you will not feel it since it has a fully balanced design.If you have bigger company the digital platform for tools and equipment is a new technology by Milwaukee by combining a free-to-use inventory program with the industry’s smartest tools, ONE-KEY™ which provides a new level of control and access to information that will revolutionize the way work gets done. You can lock your tool and disable remotely.The hard carrying case holds extra jaw sets if needed.Overall a great product and I do recommend it to professional electricians

   Not only heavy duty as is the norm with Milwaukee but heavy in weight. For me, heavy is a sign of quality. For a tool like this I would only expect top quality materials and Milwaukee did not hold back. Very fast cutting and instant power with a button to release/open the jaws at any point. One very small non-issue I had at first was attaching the battery. I had to use a little extra force than normal to get it to click in place but I’d rather it be a little tough then too easy.

    This Review Is For The M18Force Logic Cable Cutter Kit with 750 MCM Cu/Al Jaws.This M18 Force Logic Cable Cutter is designed for the professional Certified Electrician. My husband used it on his current job site. He was using it for 500 MCM Cu Cable. The main feed lines into the project.He found that it was very easy to use with one hand and cut very quickly, probably under 3 sec for the 500 MCM Cu Cable.The specifications say that it will cut 750 MCM Cu Cable in about 3 sec. He also found that it is easier to handle and cuts faster then the current other brand tool that he has been using.The M18 18-Volt Red Lithium Ion 2.0 Ah battery can power this tool to do over 250 cuts per charge.Being that you would normally make no more then 6-10 of cuts on the main cables coming into the jobsite the battery would last a long time on one charge.As with many of the Milwaukee M18 18-Volt Tools Recharged Time is 10-15 min. This Kit only comes with one battery which should be sufficient. It also comes with a M18/M12 Charger. It also comes with a hardcase and an allen wrench to change the jaws. One great feature of the Logic Force Cable Cutter is called One Key. This allows you to report, track,and manage the usage of this tool, a great feature. If you are a contractor and running multiple crews this is a great feature to keep track of this tool. This can all be managed from your smart-phone with a free app that you can get free from app store or google-play. If the tool is lost or stolen, you can also lock the tool and disable it remotely, another great feature to have. The previous tool that he use to use did not have that kind of feature.One other use that he found for the tool is cutting 1/2 in, 3/4 in, or 1 in PVC electrical conduit especially in tight situations this tool comes in handy.The dimensions of this tool with battery is 16 3/4 in Length, body width is 3 in, Height is 4 3/4 in with battery.My husband weighed and measured this tool.The motor type is brushless for long life. The product weight without the battery is 7.2 lb. With the battery is 8.2 lb. This tool is 1-Ul listed MFG Warranty 5 yr. on Tool 2 Yr. on BatteryHydraulic output force is 6 tons. As with most Milwaukee Tools are very high quality and durable and my husband would recommend it to any contractor.

It features a fully balanced center grip for maximum control and cuts 3x faster with an in-line design with compact open-jaws that can fit in tight panels for ease of use. You can get both copper and steel cutting replacement blades.
