This product is amazing. Went from a greenlee hand pump hydraulic kit to this. The m18 knock out is at least half the weight and so much faster. I use all my greenlee punches. I even punched at least 20 4″ holes with the m18 and haven’t changed a battery. Its gets the job done neat and clean.

Today’s electrical panels have too few knockouts due to the physical size of the panels. To overcome this, I use either a 4″x4″ or 6″x6″ trough and punch as many holes as needed to accommodate all the cables and conduits. This tool is made for this. What would take 1/2 day to do with the hydraulic punch takes 30 minutes with this tool. The ONLY downside is that Milwaukee really doesn’t make it clear that one MUST use the 49-16-2260S and 49-16-2661S Punch and die to make the 1/2″ hole. That SS set uses the 49-16-2680 7/16″ draw stud instead of the 3/8″ draw stud the competition uses. Other than that little description anomaly, this tool is fantastic.

I am a commercial electrician and this product has saved me so much time and effort for knocking out holes, I used to have to use a hydraulic k/o set, this tool has saved me so much physical work vs the hydraulic set that at the end if the day I am good to go the next day without being sore. This tool and kit might be expensive, but the money you lose up front saves money in time by the end of the day. It’s ten times faster than hydraulic knockouts and twice as clean.

My boss bought me the 1/2” to 4” set a few years ago and I love it, extremely fast. I also find it safer when punching a live cabinet vs using the greenlee with the pump and the hose dangling, you can put the cup draw stud and screw the cutter on, then tighten everything and then get the pump and punch the hole. Milwaukee is so much easier best tool they have invented

I am an industrial inside wireman. This is the best knockout set I have EVER used. Makes the job faster and easier on an old man. I regularly use the 1/2 inch up to 6″ on stainless junction boxes. I have never had a issue, and the red line cup combined with the LED light makes it easy without have to pull my “cheaters” out of my shirt pocket! I will buy this tool again if and when needed.

I’ve had mine for over a year and I use it regularly for up to 2” holes. It works well, but almost every time it doesn’t pull all the way through and has to be done on 2 steps. It just needs another 1/8” of travel or so. I’ve resorted to using a spacer, but it seems like they should’ve been able to fix this before it was put to market.
