The bolt used for changing the head has already broken. I have to fight it to get it out so I can change the head out

It’s hard to overstate just how impressive this tool is. The design is light, the tool is easy to use, and the crimps are easily verified through the one-key reporting system. Keep in mind that you will have to outfit it with the proper D3 dies to get the most out of it. I chose a shear die for cutting large cables and a crimper for making crimps in service entrance cables. The tool is light enough to hold above your head at awkward angles and still make the crimp. I did one crimp on the ladder in the rain, not that I’d recommend that, but it’s possible. I haven’t yet used the one-key system to its fullest, but this tool shows just how powerful the system could become over time. Reports of every crimp are generated, which makes it a snap to verify that each connection is solid and has the correct ampacity.

This Milwaukee 6 ton crimper is so efficient and accurate when crimping. The interchangeable jaws are also very easy to use. I would highly recommend this crimper to anyone in the industry. The tool is easy to handle and maneuver and will perform in any site condition. Not to mention the time I saved using the crimper. This tool is definitely a cost and time saver for me!
