I have been using crimping tools for 35 years on the job. I started with a ground down punch and a hammer. I have used mechanical crimpers that would remind you of a set of bolt cutters all the way up to air over hydraulic units. I have tested and used all the battery powered units out there also and was quite content with them till someone handed me the Milwaukee force logic 600 to try. Now I dare them to try to take it from me. First off it is not a cheap tool but is well worth it’s cost because it does the job right and is very easy to use. The dies are simple to change and Milwaukee does a great job with the marking and color coding of them to make it easy to choose the right die. I have only about 75 crimps on my tool but it is so easy it is fool proof, check the wire size, select the crimp and die install it in the tool slide in the crimp which the tool holds the crimp in place slide it on the wire and squeeze the button and your done. Put on your favorite heat shrink and make the connections. It’s that easy! The tool is light enough to make connections overhead all day long on or off of a ladder or scaffolding. I managed approximately 50 connections with one battery charge. A quick change of the head and the tool becomes a shear that makes a very precise cut in the thickest of cable. Very versitile and easy to use tool The ” one key” function on the tool is easy to use also, download the app and it records all the important information regarding your tool and also tracks it’s where about to follow it around in cyber space. It even gives you a spot to sign it out to everyone who will want to use it after they see how easy it is to do a great job. I can’t wait to take it to the next big job!

Everything one will need for electrical mains and substation work. This kit was recently put the test on the job site and performed flawlessly. My crew commented many times on how easy it was to use and the added benefit of using the phone app to record crimp data for future reference was very helpful. The batteries held up to all day use on a single charge with no problem. Highly recommend!

Wow, this is the most amazing crimper in the world. I never knew such a crimper existed. It has everything you need, and it includes not one, but 2 batteries. I like that it is easily interchangeable with the 600 MCM crimping jaw and the 750 MCM crimping ja and 750 MCM cutting jaw. see that the proprietary jaw holds connector for instant alignment and so, so much more. I read all about this spectacular tool and can’t wait to try it. Thank you so much.

Opening the case reveals the crimping tool, two interchangeable jaws, two M18 batteries, a charger and 15 “U” shaped die pairs with additional space to add four more. First things first; charge up a battery – very quick, just 34 minutes to full charge – then add this tool to the excellent ONE-KEY app inventory. That way it can be tracked, disabled, enabled and more all from a smartphone.Next up, a couple of crimps to see how this tool performs. Select the right die and install in the crimping jaw … there’s a problem! One of the die release tabs was laid on the bench. The circlip holding the pin had come off. Closer inspection showed it to be stretched apart too far to hold the pin properly. I don’t think I have ever had any of my other Milwaukee tools fail right out of the box. Indeed, it is very unusual for M18 tools to fail at all even after years of use – I have at least eleven of them. It was a problem soon fixed for just a few cents. So, on with the demo; install the die, insert the connector and the wire and pull the trigger. The Predictive Force Monitoring feature ensures the right amount of pressure is used for the perfect crimp regardless of the size of the die and materials used. The photos and video show the tool in use.

The unit comes with two batteries which is a plus. When charging both batteries, the initial indicator was that the batteries were defective. After seating them several times, the charger indicated a good charging connection. The One Key feature is probably a good idea but I do not have a smart phone so it isn’t as helpful as it could be. The unit works as a crimping unit and I would like to try it as a cutting unit as I understand that it has cutting heads available. They were not included in the unit. The hanging loop is a nice touch, since most of the crimping applications that I come across are not “on the ground.”

This is simply the best commercial crimper I’ve ever used for up to 600 and 750 (comes with larged jaw) MCM wire. It is actually very well balanced with the smaller sized batteries M18 batteries it comes with, which are probably going to last you through the day. At any rate, they charge quickly, and I’ve completely gone over to Milwaukee cordless, so have no shortage of battery options. Some things I like about this kit:- it actually comes with a full range of dies (Aluminum; Copper sold separately)- it is so easy to change jaws and dies. Takes seconds.- it’s quick. Only takes a few seconds, perfect crimp every time.- the case keeps everything better organized than a bag, and like all Milwaukee hard cases takes a beating.- the markings on the dies and their slots in the case are easy to read (and it comes with additional die markers and some additional slots for dies you buy separately)- has a nice quick reference chart at the top side of the case.- the grip on the tool is great.- there’s a release button on the side of the tool if you need to manually release the jaws for some reason. One thing I wished it came with for the price was the cutting jaws attachment, though there is a slot for it in the case. And that’s what this tool ultimately gets down to is price. It is not inexpensive and you may need to add some dies and an additional attachment to complete the kit. But it is fairly complete as is, and typical of Milwaukee, is an excellent quality all around. If you can justify the upfront investment in this crimper and kit, I believe it will prove to be a solid one. It’s such a great design and amazingly compact and lightweight given the amount of force it can generate and the sizes it covers. And very energy efficient. I can easily recommend it.

I am really excited with my Milwaukee crimper. I was interested to find out how it would work on pex. It really takes some strength to use the manual crimper and takes a lot of energy so I am excited to know this tool will make it much easier on pex pipe tasks. I can also order the cutter which would have made my job much easier when I installed sprinkler systems. There are so many uses for this thing. It will take a lot of work out of labor, energy absorbing tasks.

The Milwaukee M18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless FORCE LOGIC 600 MCM Crimper Kit with 750 MCM Expanded Jaw is a very expensive tool, but if you do a lot of jobs that require crimping of pipes, cables, etc., this will make your job easier. I like Milwaukee tools and have not been disappointed in the quality and durability of the power tools I’ve gotten so far.

I’ve used many large manual crimpers before but no more. This set is defiantly made for the professional electrician. The set is very easy to use and it comes with a large array of die sizes for almost any size of wire. There are additional die sizes available if needed and the carrying case has extra slots available to store them. Once the dies are inserted into the jaws the jaws will hold the terminal ends in place so all you have to do is insert the wire and squeeze the trigger. The built in hydraulic system automatically adjusts to the pressure needed for the crimp and an indicator light tells you whin the crimp is done. The unit is very well balanced and light weight however it is very robust and well built for years of use. The jaws also rotate to allow you to get into tight spaces easily. This is by all means the best crimping system that I have ever used. The set comes with the crimper, (2) batteries, a charger, (2) sets of crimping jaws, the molded carrying case and a large assortment of crimping dies.

I’m very impressed with the Milwaukee M18 2679-750A Force Logic electricians crimper kit for it’s great Milwaukee quality and it’s unique features. It came with two batteries, 16 dies, charger and case and two jaws for accommodating small to large crimping jobs. The grip is comfortable and the die/head holds the coupling or connector while you are inserting the wire–allowing a nice crimp just using our two hands. I definitely recommend it for the commercial electrician or craftsman needing to make crimps on their electrical install.

I was awaiting the opportunity to test this guy out. I ordered it online, and it arrived in perfect shape. I have a standard pump action crimper already. I’ve used it in the past, and almost used it again on this latest job. This job was to crimp some ends on a pull cable. Since this job needed only 4 crimps, I pulled out my old crimper first. It was tight quarters, and I thought I’d finally give this tool a try. Wow. This tool is truly amazing. The operation is virtually one handed. The jaws open with just finger tip effort. As easy as pinching two of your fingers together. Let go and it clamps over the piece to be crimped. Hold it steady, and squeeze the trigger. It whirls audibly very briefly, and leaves behind an incredible crimp. I really wanted to keep going with it, but I only needed to do 4 on this job. It’s a pleasure to use. My old crimper is destined for dust collection for sure. This tool is incredible! Yes, it’s pricey. but boy, you will really appreciate how it functions almost effortlessly. The crimped part drops out of the smooth dies, very easily. Truly a smart, design, and screams quality. Its also much lighter than I thought it would be. Easy to hold in one hand. This tools case is nicely laid out, and included stickers for the different dies, and secure recesses in the case to hold them. They really put effort into this, and it shows. I am very impressed, and recommend this tool enthusiastically.

Fantastic crimping tool!!!! Force of pressure is 6 ton, weight is 4.65 lbs without battery. 13.3 l length without the battery or jaw. This tool makes splicing and putting lugs on wires a breeze. There is no way anyone could put that on by hand. All you have to do is put is put lug into the jaws of the tool, it aligns it self and slide the wire in and push the button! All dies for splices or lugs are color coded plus stamped with the wire size. This tool keeps track of the number of crimps and lets you know when 40,000 crimps are reached. The kit comes with crimper, 2 jaws, 16 dies, 2 batteries, one charger and carrying case. This one fantastic invention!!!!

This Milwaukee, M18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion cordless FORCE LOGIC 600 MCM crimper kit Is a very impressive tool and lives up to the quality of Milwaukee tools. This tool kit comes with a M18 and M12 battery charger and two M18 2.0 AH batteries. There are two sets of clamping jaws one for smaller dies up to 600 MCM and one for large dies up to 750 MCM. The kit comes with sixteen dies for aluminum ranging from 6 gauge wire up to 750 MCM wire and copper dies are also available. A cutting jaw item 49-16-2780 which cuts 750 MCM is an available optional and sold by the Home Depot. There is a space in the large molded case for the optional cutting jaws and also for four extra crimping dies. The case is quite large but makes using and storing the tool very convenient. The Milwaukee One Key App allows you to store real data, generate reports on each crimp, view tool performance and sync it wirelessly to the cloud for access. I was not able to load the One Key app on my older android smart phone but found a newer one to try out the app. The app is a very interesting feature which some contractors or larger businesses will find very helpful in managing and securing their tool inventory. The crimping could not be easier. Inserting the dies is as easy as slipping them into the jaws and they lock in place with a spring loaded pin in each jaw. Then position the wire dies over the lug and wire, then hold the trigger until the cycle ends and the solid green crimping indicator light illuminates to signify a good crimp. A solid red light means the crimp did not reach full pressure and a flashing red means the crimp did not complete. A red / green flashing light means it has reached its service life ( 40,000 crimps ) and should be checked and maintained by Milwaukee.I would easily recommend this tool for anyone that needs a high quality tool that will both save time and make high quality crimps that will last for many years. The battery has a 2 year warranty and the tool has a five year limited warranty.

For the Professional – This is efficient and FAST and CORRECT every time. The Milwaukee M18 FORCE LOGIC 600 MCM Al Crimper Kit with the 750 MCM Expanded Jaw should be considered as the most accurate way to crimp over and over. Right off the bat I want to say aluminum dies are included with this kit having form fitting slots with labels inside the case, specifically a full set of #8-750 MCM aluminum 6T style dies. The two jaws will handle all the dies that are included. As far as what’s included, two (2) M18 2.0 battery packs and charger, as well as a sturdy case with strong plastic/metal latches. In sum, you have an all-in-one tool here: It’s ready to go. There is a slot in the case for the 750 MCM cutting jaw (49-16-2780 which is not included). The tool operates flawlessly. Milwaukee calls their crimping force electronic calculator PFM or Predictive Force Monitoring. It insures the correct amount of force is used for a perfect crimp each time. The dies imprint the wire size into the connector as part of the crimping process. That is helpful for inspectors. The dies easily snap in and out of the jaws. They include vivid wire size markings and industry-standard color markings. Affixed charts in the case provide industry matching options for correct usage. Also of interest to the Pro is Milwaukee’s ONE-KEY technology that can generate a report on every crimp the tool makes for one. One important feature is a metal tether at the end of the tool. If working in a bucket or high up, then the last thing you want is this tool hitting the deck. The substantial nature of the tether hook just is another indication that this tool is meant to last for years and years. Three things stood out to me: The well made nature of this Milwaukee tool; the ease of use to do repetitive crimps; and the speed of the crimping process. This is a superb tool and supporting components from Milwaukee.

A full kit of #8-750 MCM aluminum 6T U style dies. 2 M18 RedLithium batteries and a M18/ M12 multi volt charger and a case. It makes awesome crimps everytime so far with the right amount of pressure.

The Milwaukee Force Logic 600 MCM crimper kit with 750 MCM expanded jaw makes crimping electrical cable with lugs or splices a snap. The kit comes with a complete die package(16 total dies) and installing them in the jaw is a easy and secure. The crimping force is 6 tons. The unit only weighs 4.65 pounds w/o battery and the grip is comfortable and easy to handle. I like how the jaw holds the connector, which allows me to use my other hand to feed the wire. It comes with a 600mcm and a 750mcm jaw and they’re easy to change out. The wireless app is great for tracking and managing this premium crimper. I love the M18 lithium-ion batteries (2). I definitely recommend this Milwaukee crimper kit for the electrical professional for it’s quality, functionality and performance.

This is an awesome battery-powered crimping set. It comes in a sturdy case with lots of crimper dies and crimper heads for two ranges of wire sizes. Please be aware that the dies included in the set are for aluminum wire. If you crimp copper you will have to buy additional dies. It comes wit the labels for copper dies.Usage is very easy. Spread the jaws and pull back the pin to insert each side of the die. Spread the jaws again and place over the crimp. Squeeze the trigger and it automatically goes through the crimp and shuts off, releasing the jaws. A red or green LED indicates success or failure. It even stamps the die size in the crimp to confirm you used the correct crimper die.The tool is not light nor is the case with all the dies. It comes with two batteries so you can crimp all day!

The Milwaukee name is synonymous for heavy duty and quality tools. The Milwaukee cordless crimper Force Logic 600 MCM is a very professional tool that is made for long term use. This tool is designed for the professional industrial/commercial electrician in mind where crimped terminals are need on the job such as in electrical cabinets, motors, etc. The cordless Force Logic 600 MCM tool offers the ability to crimp up to 750 MCM with the unique and valuable PFM (Predictive Force Monitoring) feature for the proper tension crimping force for each size individual wire crimp. Two added features I especially like are that each individual crimp has a permanent stamp of the wire size on the crimp itself as well as the tool offers a handy and valuable ONE-KEY inventory app so you can enable, track, and disable the tool in case of theft or misuse, all from a standard smartphone. I like the fact that the comes with a handy and durable carry case which protects the tool itself, plus two long lasting M17 REDLITHIUM batteries and a M18/M12 battery charger. I would definitely recommend the Force Logic 600 MCM to the professional industrial/commercial electrician to make their jobs more quicker, reliable and professional.

Wow wow wow, Milwaukee MCM crimper kit stands alone. Milwaukee has produced the best technology in the industry by far. This crimping kit has everything you need from start to finish for crimping lug connectors. And is the most accurate way to crimp effortlessly. When I unboxed this kit in the case there are 2- cp 2.0 batteries and a charger for M18 and M12 batteries. Milwaukee also provided to crimper Jaws that are 600 MCM and 750 MCM. Inside this kit also has 16 U Style dies that are 400 MCM AL, 500 MCM AL, 600 MCM AL, 750 MCM AL and # 1 AWG AL, #2 AWG AL, #4 AWG AL, #6 AWG AL, #8 AWG AL and #1/0 AWG AL, #2/0 AWG AL, #3/0 AWG AL, #4/0 AWG AL and #250 MCM AL, #300 MCM AL, #350 MCM AL the case has 4 extra slots for new dies. This case weighs in with tools at 27.8 lb and is 24-1/2 in. L x 6 in. W x 18-1/2 in. H. The crimping tool is 16 in. Long with the 600 MCM jaw and 3.15 in. Wide and 5.28 in. In Hight and weighs 4.56 lb without the battery. This crimper comes with 2 LED lights for illumination when crimping the lugs. On the back part of the tool there is a heavy duty lanyard for tethering the crimper tool. The 2.0 batteries will give you 200 crimps / battery. Milwaukee did and outstanding job on the dies by making them out of stainless steel so they will not rust and each die is color coded for lug matchup. And is laser etched with wire sizes. There are 2 more LED lights on the base of the crimper, one is for the one key and the other one is to let you know if your press was successful, the green light means you had a good press at 6 tons of pressure and the red light means you’re press was not successful. When you want to switch out the crimping Jaws on the crimper there is a retaining pin with a thumb screw you just loosen the thumb screw and pull the pin out and switch the Jaws. This is a toolless operation . I also want to mention on the jaw’s there are 2 retaining pins to lock in the dies so they don’t keep falling out of the Jaws like other crimpers do. Milwaukee added a backup release valve button on the side of the handle for when you need to open Jaws in an emergency. I am so happy with this crimper because you are getting 2 tools in one. You can purchase the M18 Force logic 750 MCM cu/AL cutting jaw model ( 49-16-2780 ) you can cut any size wire now thick or thin. The one key is a big benefit you can track your tool if ever stolen and I can keep a record of all my presses for the building inspector. This is one of the best electrician tools you could ever purchase like I said earlier 2 Tools in one. All you have to do is buy the extra cutter jaw. This crimper works very well and smooth and is a money maker. I recommend this 100% and Milwaukee gets 5 stars. I will have pictures below and maybe a video.
