The M18 FORCE LOGIC 600 MCM Crimper is the Most Accurate Way to Crimp producing cULus classified crimps according to the UL 486A-B classification standards for #8 – 600 MCM Cu and #8-350 MCM Dual Rated Anderson, Blackburn Burndy, Ilsco, Panduit, Penn-Union and Thomas and Betts Connectors. Utilizing Milwaukee U Style Dies that feature vivid wire size markings, industry standard color markings and imprint wire size onto the connector after crimp completion, Commercial Electricians benefit from its ease of use and easy inspection. A New Jaw Design Holds the Connector for Instant Alignment and Predictive Force Monitoring (PFM) ensures proper pressure is reached on every crimp. PFM actively measures pressure and automatically modifies all performance levels of the system allowing the high speed hydraulic pump to power through the beginning of a cycle and land at precisely the right pressure, protecting internal components, to complete the crimp. The result, Milwaukee crimpers are the most accurate, fastest and most durable crimpers in the world. Milwaukee Crimpers feature a fully enclosed high speed hydraulic pump, POWERSTATE Brushless Motor, REDLINK Electronics and REDLITHIUM Batteries delivering Ultimate Reliability in the toughest conditions and up to 4X longer-life.

In my 25+ years in the electrical trade I have used numerous crimp tools for all sizes of wire, from the manual handle type, to the manual hydraulic pump, to the battery powered hydraulic ones. And I have made hundreds of crimp connections, from cell site rack power and grounding halos, to main service section connections. This crimper compares very favorably, and is quicker, more powerful, and more versatile than any other I have used. The kit comes with most of the dies you will ever need, from #8 – 750 MCM, and the larger jaw for the big wire. Changing the jaw out only takes a minute or 2, and changing die sets is very easy, only a matter of seconds. This makes very fast crimps, the fastest I have used. Very powerful. It is a heavy, solidly built tool intended to handle the big wire, but it will also handle the small stuff. I like how the jaw easily opens and goes around the crimp/C-tap/butt splice/lug by squeezing the back part with one hand. No hinged piece that has to be swung and latched each time. There is a manual release if you need to stop mid-crimp for some reason. This even works with “C” or “6” style crimps, you just need to find the included die set that fits right. This will also accept the wire cutting jaw for up to 750 MCM. The “One Key” feature lets you track and disable the tool if it is stolen, and does some other things that I won’t take time for here. It is not a cheap tool, but for lineman or commercial/industrial electricians that constantly make crimps on large wire, this is an excellent option.

Since my first purchase of a Milwaukee tool, a rotary sander, I’ve been a fan of their products. This Crimper Kit is a fairly new offering by Milwaukee and is offered in a 750A and 750C version. You can find details of each on the Milwaukeetool web site. Both are for professional electricians. The version I’m reviewing in the 750A. The kit is extensive and includes the parts you’ve already read in the description. My comments are though Milwaukee tools are a bit expensive they are worth the money.
