The M18 FORCE LOGIC 600 MCM Crimper is the Most Accurate Way to Crimp producing cULus classified crimps according to the UL 486A-B classification standards for #8-600 MCM Cu and #8-350 MCM Dual Rated Anderson, Blackburn Burndy, Ilsco, Panduit, Penn-Union and Thomas and Betts Connectors. Utilizing Milwaukee U Style Dies that feature vivid wire size markings, industry standard color markings and imprint wire size onto the connector after crimp completion, Commercial Electricians benefit from its ease of use and easy inspection. A New Jaw Design Holds the Connector for Instant Alignment and Predictive Force Monitoring (PFM) ensures proper pressure is reached on every crimp. PFM actively measures pressure and automatically modifies all performance levels of the system allowing the high speed hydraulic pump to power through the beginning of a cycle and land at precisely the right pressure, protecting internal components, to complete the crimp. Milwaukee 2679-750C M18 One Key Force Logic 600 MCM Copper Crimper Kit – This crimper kit includes 600 MCM Crimper, 600 MCM Crimping Jaw, 750 MCM Crimping Jaw, (16) Copper U Style Crimping Dies #8 AWG to 600 MCM, 750 MCM Copper U Style Die, (2) M18 2.0 Ah Batteries and M12 / M18 Battery Charger…With the addition of U Style Aluminum Dies this Crimper with crimp #8 AWG to 750 MCM Aluminum connectors…This crimper will also accept a 750 MCM Copper / Aluminum wire cutting jaw…This crimper is fantastic, very well designed and extremely easy to use…The overall weight is approximately 5.5 pounds or less…The overall size approximately 13.5 inches allows this crimper to fit easily into panels, junction boxes and troughs…The One Key feature allows the user to generate reports showing the data for every crimp as well as manage service and maintenance intervals and track and locate a lost or stolen tool, also receive alerts when found…I tested this crimper on copper connectors only on various sizes of copper wire…The inline design and 360 degree rotating jaw makes this crimper quite easy to use in open or confined locations…This crimper performed as indicated, intended and expected without any problems…The report I generated indicated all crimps were completed at full compression force…There is also a green LED light on the crimper that indicates a crimp has reached full compression and the crimp is complete…The crimper will auto release or open after the crimp is completed…if the crimp was not completed using full compression the LED will be red…The crimper can be open by pushing the release button located on the side of the tool should a crimp not be completed using full compression…I have used several pistol or gun style crimper by other manufactures, this crimper is lighter in overall weight, not front heavy and far easier to handle and use, especially when performing many terminations in a day…Terminating high amperage switch gear sections could have as many as (100) crimps when using pin terminals on all connections to circuit breakers and panel lugs…This crimper would be a benefit to any electrical contractor performing commercial / industrial work…
