Had difficulty figuring out & switching the PLASTIC dust atchmts. Dust filter is nice, but not enough suction when vertical. Vac hose pulled the atchmt loose & hit ground hard. Would like D-ring on sander to tie it off to prevent dropping. Sanding surface is very flat and I like everything else.

This is a very handy tool, and the option for dust control was well thought out, and works perfectly!

Great little sander but it will run down a battery FAST. I have seen a lot of reviews where people are talking about the dust cover popping off. I read another review where a guy explained that you have to use both hands and squeeze it down until it snaps into place. He is correct. It may appear that you have it on but in reality it is not fully seated. I made darn sure that mine was fully seated and I had zero problems with it. So I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. It made very quick work of the drywall that I had to do. The only thing I would say is that you are definitely going to need a good battery. I will be buying a 5 amp hour for mine in the future. I would have given it 5 stars if it didn’t drain the battery life so quickly.

Love my new sander! Easy to use and not as heavy as I thought it would be

The sander itself works well, cordless life on a 3.0ah battery is respectable. I used this to sand my kitchen cabinet frames. Unfortunately, the dust collection system is horrid. Hooked up to a Makita dust collector, the sander still throws a decent amount of dust out the ports around the front of the sander from time to time. The worst part is that the proprietary connector (square) for the dust collectors is extremely weak and only pushes in without a clasp of any sort. So what happens is that the hose connection eventually falls out of the sander, very annoying. If you’re using a dust collector avoid this sander. If you’re using the included dust box, it’s probably fine.

It is a very nice sander when you hook it to a vacuum it does a great job of controlling dust
