everything is great in this combo kit except for the portaband saw. It is the smallest one Milwaukee makes. If they traded the portaband for their larger portaband saw this kit would be awesome. The small portaband is just a waste of space. If they also made a box that could both fit in my 2’x4′ gang box and neatly contain all of the tools in this kit. I would probably be the first to buy that box for this kit!

This 2695-15R kit includes almost everything a tradesman or DIY homeowner would ever need. It is the old-style brushed versions of tools. The inclusion of the dual voltage vacuum is very useful. I have not used all of the items yet. The radio is heavy but includes a nice compartment to protect your phone or music player. The radio has plenty of volume but there is a slight buzz or vibration at lower frequency range. The circular saw easily cuts through 2×4 and 5 ply. Pocket cuts are not a problem either. The blade speed is slower than many others but adequate for cutting without binding. The ¼” impact drives fasteners like most others but I think it will last a long time due to the robust materials used in construction. The one tool I had the most drama with is the right-angle drill 2615-20. Like others have experienced, stalling is an issue. I needed to run a new thermostat wire and figured the right-angle drill was perfectly suited to do it. I grabbed a ¾” auger bit and attempted to drill through the double 2×4 top plate. That bit must have stalled at least 8 times drilling a single hole. I had to keep reversing the bit to get it un-stuck. I verified several times the torque dial was at the highest. No matter the method I used, the drill kept stalling. Several days later I decided to run some tests. I again tried the same ¾” auger bit in a small 2×4 and had the same stalling problem. I then figured I would try a 1-3/8” spade bit. The drill did not stall at all. The torque sensing on this drill is finicky and if you experience stalling, try a different style bit. The blower is very strong and hard to believe the amount of air it can move. The LED light has a bright are of illumination that goes out more than 30 feet. The sequential charger is a nice thing to have on the job site. I was surprised that the kit includes four 3 amp-hour batteries rather than two 3’s and two 5’s or 6’s.

We bought a house. That needed work. Lots of work. We are not professionals by any means, but are perfectly knowledgeable and capable of tackling a wide variety of projects on our own (don’t worry, we are humble enough to know when to call the pro’s in). It didn’t take long for us to realize that our tool collection was less than adequate for the projects we needed to complete. This kit has everything, and then some. Impacts & drills & saws, oh my! Whether we are working on our cars, or on the house, all of the tools have proven to be very powerful and reliable. The fact that we now have a complete arsenal of tools for home and garage that all take the same battery and use the same 6 battery capacity charger is priceless. Yes, this is a pricey combo, but if you plan on doing as much as you can on your own you will not be disappointed. Yes, there are some pieces that may be used more than others. But when the time arises that you need the lesser used items you will for sure be glad you have them. And the bonuses in this set are great. The radio, that not only can be powered by battery but also has a DC cord and an aux & USB port to play music from your phone, the shop vac with attachments and the tool bags which are large and versatile. I would highly recommend this combo for anyone who is not afraid to do what they can on their own. As someone who has a home and vehicles to maintain this combo fits the bill completely and is well worth the investment.

I truly love this Milwaukee 15 tools pack. This is the package for you if you want something that will give you 75%-90% of the power tools you will need for basic construction and DIY. It is not cheap, but I ended up using all but the Impact Driver. I have used a bunch of the tools to do some remodeling recently. The cordless band saw was surprising useful for breaking down heating pipes for disposal. The drivers, blowers, and multitools are high quality. The one tool that I have used the most in my DIY and maintenance work … the 3 gallon shop vac. You want to unclog a since or toilet before going for the snake … use a shop vac first. This one was unexpected powerful as both a blower and vac and saved me hundreds in plumber expense and time just in the few months I have had it. I can very much recommending this tool set.

Milwaukee just keeps putting out these great cordless tools. My brother finally convinced me to try this rechargeable collection and they have proven to have power I didn’t think was possible from battery operated tools. The M18 18-volt lithium-ion battery operates all these tools and more from Milwaukee and I have been surprised at how long the battery lasts between charges. This is definitely a contractor’s set and probably a little more than I need, but all the pieces work great and have plenty of power. Four batteries and a charger to hold them all, plus 3 large tool bags makes this a great set.

Milwaukee M18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Combo Tool Kit (15-Tool) with Four 3.0 Ah Batteries, 1 Charger, 3 Tool Bags review: This is another fabulous Milwaukee tool set. Note that this is the M18 set, not the M18 Fuel set. It has brushed motors. Every tool I have used so far is very effective, useful and extremely durable – a standard of features in all Milwaukee tools. I do not know which is my favorite – they are all so useful and designed to take a beating. The radio totally surprised both me and my wife – it is heavy and reminds me of an anvil – and superb sound quality on battery power and ac. Wow. Next, the wet dry vac is just incredible. It is just the right size, two gallons, and has very powerful suction power. I recently used it to extract all the broken tempered glass from within my Jeep as a neighbor was shooting a pellet gun and it ricocheted and hit my passenger side back glass (the neighbor was very nice, accepted responsibility and paid for a new window). The thing is that it is portable, runs on battery power and was so easy to use inside a vehicle! It literally picked up on the glass inside the Jeep. It is very powerful and easy to use. Wow! The compact blower is small but surprisingly very powerful – I have used it on the patio and yard for cleaning debris – it works great and has three power settings. Another use for it is to clean out the HIPA filter in the wet dry vac – makes it look brand new clean! I love the left side blade on the 6.5 inch circular blade – makes it VERY easy to see the line I am cutting since I am right handed – love it! The only thing that surprises me is the 3.0 ah XC batteries – they get depleted a bit too quickly. I still use them but rely on my 5.0 ah XC batteries since they seem to run forever, even in these brushed motor tools. I also love the serial battery charger as it is easy to carry loaded with six (6) batteries and I do not have to continually remove a battery from a singe charger – it charges one, goes to the next one, etc. It would have been nice for them to all charge simultaneously but I am very pleased with this charger – it is my favorite charger. The reciprocating saw is awesome – not too heavy and not TOO much vibration and I recently used it to prune all the trees in my front and side yards and it worked continuously. I did go through three of the 3.0 ah batteries and then switched to the 5.0 ah batteries which lasted much longer. The three bags included are LONG and LARGE. Wow. Now, if they were just brushless. Love these tools! There ya go!

If you are considering equipping your workshop or service truck with new tools, you need to give this 15 tool Milwaukee set a hard look. Not only does this kit come with 15 quality Milwaukee tools ranging from a hammer drill to a circular saw to a wet vac and job site radio, but it also comes with four M-18 batteries to supply power for your tools. It also comes with a six pack charger and three large contractor bags for holding all these tools. The kit as a whole is pricey – close to $2,000.00, but just think what you would pay if you bought each tool and/or accessory separately !

Milwaukee 15 tool setPlease check out the pictures I included with this review. It will give you an idea how large and diverse this set is. I stacked the small blower complete with extension and array of nozzles on the 2.5 gallon wet/dry vacuum. If you can see in the pictures it comes with a flex hose and a crevice tool. The top compartment takes the M18 battery as well as storage for the flex hose, hose adapter, the crevice tool and additional space for additional adapters, hose extensions, and a spare battery if you so desire. The bottom compartment is for the debris you vacuum up and the filter, which needs to be removed if wet vacuuming is desired. You will notice there is a six port M18 only sequential charger in front of the rectangular vacuum. I personally use this charger to place all of the low batteries on at the end of the day. I do that mainly because the high capacity batteries I use for the tools that I either use most of the day, or I use for extensively heavy duty work. That would include heavy grinding or cutting for assembly or demolition.If you are going to need the 1/2″ or 3/8″ impact for extended work, like removing and/or installing heavy truck or trailer wheels, you might need a pair of fresh batteries or an extended Amp Hour battery because of the time it will take the impact hammers to finish that type of job.When it comes to cutting material you have a number of choices. You have the 6.5 inch circular saw. This saw will fit many of the tracks or saw guides available for production type work. You also have the options that come with a heavy duty style “sawzall” reciprocal saw, for wood, metal or plastics. Then there is the portable band saw for a full range of material cutting options. Then we get to the multi-saw that can do everything from cutting concrete and stone to cutting the most delicate of trim and moldings, by just using different blades.Then we come to drills the set includes a 5/8″ heavy duty SDS-Rotary Hammer that has the ability to core, hammer or demolish concrete, rocks or other tough jobs. This SDS rotary hammer/drill with its auxiliary handle and depth gauge can core drill, set anchors or attach heavy duty work. Then we drop down to a 1/2″ chuck hammer drill. This tool gives you the option of being a standard drill or a hammer drill to get through tougher materials. Then you have the option to hammer the bit or chisel you have installed to free it under difficult circumstances. If you need to drill that hole in tight spaces you have a right angle drill to get that tight space taken care of. Next we come to an impact driver that can use any of the 1/4″ hex bits available. Those bits include drill bits, various driver bits from straight, phillips, robertson, torx or hex shaped allen bits. If you think that list is long you have not considered the security variety of each of those shapes and the next great bit shape that comes up. Do not forget that each of those screw shapes also have variations in depth they need to be driven to above or below the surface. All of these can be driven with this driver in the kit. After all of those tool options we can’t leave out the dual power( M18 or 115 volt plug) radio included. You get AM/FM bands plus an Auxiliary input from your phone/iPod or other music storage-player you may have. This radio comes with a time readout that uses 2 triple A batteries for its separate battery back-up. Then you get an additional feature you would not expect in a work place portable radio. This radio comes with adjustable channel presets and an adjustable equalizer. Now for the people who think these tools are more than enough. You have heavy duty Milwaukee embroidered carry bags. You get 4 of the new XC ( for extra capacity ) Red Lithium batteries to give enough power to use any of the tools included. This is a very inclusive set. You really do get a very good representation of the tools included in the M18 Milwaukee family of tools.

Since some of the tools in this set are not made in brushless or Fuel so this is a great collection of brushed M18 cordless tools which should last a very long time. This would be a great set for the Homeowner, DIYer, Handyman or even a Contractor. You will not be disappointed with the quality or functionality of this set. Not all the tools come with blades like the compact band saw. The 3 heavy duty contractor quality soft bags are a great addition for carrying the tool set. Would liked to have a couple of larger AH batteries.
