Love this drill! My standard corded Hole Hawg was stolen and I needed a replacement. I saw this one on line with a battery for less! I’ve been a skeptic of larger cordless tools but this was a surprise! It has the power, it has the tork but it has a safety feature that that won’t allow it to bind andkeep spinning! The corded Hole Hawg can bind and cause injury if you are not careful. This drill has not had that problem. The ergonomics are great also. Easier handling! Drilled some 4″ holes for abs drain lines. No problem! Don’t miss my corded one yet!

It’s great because it’s lighter and has greater mobility than a right angle drill.

This drill will get you thru a rough in with the quickness. I’ve used it in tract work drilling out 2500-3500sf d.fir homes as well as 10,000+sf Customs (psl, engineered lumber, etc) … I use it with the 9.0 and that thing rips! Pretty stoked on my Milwaukee collection right now.

I bought this tool for the hard to get in spots where I couldn’t get my regular drill. The torque is unbelievable and it worked perfectly for those hard to get in spaces

I’m an electrician and had hoped this drill could replace my corded drill for smaller rough-ins. Unfortunately, this drill has power struggles. In fact, it doesn’t feel any more powerful than my regular M18 drill. This drill struggles and frequently stalls when drilling through new 2×4’s with 1” auger bits. It will drill through a single 2×4 without stalling about 75% of the time, and will drill through doubled up 2×4’s without stalling about 50% of the time. I use 4.0 batteries and have yet to try the high output batteries with this drill. Rather than having to upgrade my batteries, I would have preferred a drill with an adjustable gear box (like on the regular M18 drills) to increase the torque and prevent stalling.

This is my #1 used power tool on the job site. It is light weight and a serious work horse. I have 4 of the 9.0 batteries and now I never have to run a cord for power on the job site. I also use it on finals to cut in all the lights. (Vanity, porches, eve, and Christmas outlets. This tool has cut my time on the job by 20%. The only complaint is when it’s 95+ degrees outside this tool will drain the batteries. Which is why I have 4 9.0 batteries. Milwaukee hit a home run with this tool.

I purchased this tool because I have been doing a little residential and am surprised how great it is. You can one handed drill 1″ holes and there is no catching or torquing of your wrist. I would highly recommend this product to anyone
