I used this for a bigger job than what was intended. And it worked wonderfully. I needed to put a sump pit in my basement and had to chisel a 2foot diameter hole through 5 “ of concrete. Though a bigger tool would have been faster. This did the job amazingly. It had more power than I thought it would . Always Milwaukee!

This item works great overhead for drop pins and smaller holes, works well when drilling to the side too. Can blow dust out the backside of a hole if you are drilling completely through something. Definitely could use a more rugged and sturdy mechanism for both the drilling depth button and the drill bit depth button.

I like most everything about the tool, only I would want to change is the weight and add a drill driver setting that acts more like a m18 drill driver

I work in HVAC and used the SDS 1” Rotary hammer drill for venting a kitchen hood through brick on extension ladder. I was able to pilot a series of holes through the brick and then put on the chisel to make a nice clean break. The hammer drill had no problem going through the red clay brick and made my job easier. I would definitely buy again and am looking forward to purchasing the concrete anchor kit with the driver and bit attachment for tapcons in the future.
