Excellent SDS Plus Drill. Works with my existing M18 batteries and penetrates with ease.

If your looking for a quality cordless rotary hammer and have the Milwaukee m18 platform… then this is the drill for you. The other cordless rotary hammer is more expensive and this keeps up with it just fine. Highly recommend

Excellent product, as expected.

I purchased this for a job that required me to drill several holes in concrete while on a scissor lift and it was on sale making it comparable to a corded SDS at the time. My coworker and I were both seriously impressed with it’s power and speed.

Very nice tool. The kit includes the M18 FUEL 1 in. SDS-Plus D-handle rotary hammer drill, two M18 REDLITHIUM high demand 9.0 batteries, one M18 and M12 rapid charger, one depth rod and one side handle. We used this to drill 1/2″ holes into our pool deck to install a baby safety gate around the pool. It was consistently powerful throughout the entire project. We had to drill 50 holes through the deck. The depth rod was used to ensure we did not go too deep but just deep enough for each pole to be set. The side handle came in “handy” (pun intended) towards the end when my arms were getting sore. Battery did not have to be changed during this project!

This rotary hammer is simply awesome. So far I’ve used it for cleaning out mortar, scaling and removing time. Drills 1” bits into concrete with no problem at all. I have used it to chisel away at concrete but it’s definitely not a jack hammer. Very happy with the battery life and strength of this tool.

The Milwaukee 18-Volt Cordless Rotary Hammer High Demand Kit is very powerful for a Cordless Tool. The Three Modes, Drill, Rotary and Rotary Hammer are like Three Tools in One. The LED light is useful if your in a low light project, like my basement. I hammered through my poured basement wall to hang a circuit panel box with little effort. I also broke up some blacktop in my driveway. Battery lasted for both projects with power to spare.

I have the bosch bulldog electric version of this same drill and was afraid that maybe it wouldnt core a 3 inch hole as well. I was very surprised at the power and ability.

This is the first battery operated tool I own with this kind of power – very impressive. I drilled about 20 1/16 holes in my concrete patio and it was a breeze. The drill is a bit on the heavy side. The drill has 3 modes – drill only, rotary hammer and hammer only function. Great functionality. I think this drill is a great addition to the tool shed.

This is a heavy duty tool. The hammer drill is solid. The batteries are 9 AH each; they are large, heavy and last for a long time. The SDS chuck is strong and the collar holds bits secure. I only used SDS Plus bits, but it will support SDS as well.Batteries recharge in about an hour, maybe a little less. The included charger is a typical Milwaukee Red Lithium charger; it can charge the massive batteries included with the hammer drill, as well as the smaller Milwaukee batteries used for small cordless tools. The depth gauge is integrated into the forward handle, making it convenient and easy to use. You can adjust that front handle for left or right handers, and for working next to walls or in tight spaces. The selector switch is excellent. You can choose between hammer only, hammer and drill or a full drill with no hammer. It is a true rotary hammer tool – you can use only the hammer function for concrete chipping or light duty demolition.I used it for both simple holes in concrete and for chipping a hole in a concrete floor to move some plumbing. It worked well and the battery lasted throughout, without needing to be recharged.

This hammer drill works great for getting up thin tile with the correct bit. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

While not being an everyday tool for me as a residential electrical contractor, like it would be for someone in the commercial or industrial sector, an SDS rotary hammer is something I use fairly often. My primary use is drilling for concrete anchors and Tapcons. I’ve always used a corded SDS-Plus rotary hammer with the same form factor as this new Fuel model here. Offering just about the same amount of impact energy as my corded one, yet with all the freedom a cordless provides, this has already taken its place in my truck.Since getting it recently, I’ve used it in both our rather hard concrete – full of lots of stone aggregate – and for some drilling in granite. It was blistering fast at holes in the 1/4″ – 1/2″ range in both materials. 1-inch holes in granite weren’t quite as fast, obviously, but still on par with my corded. The fit and finish on this contractor-grade tool is excellent, as one can expect from Milwaukee. Like pretty much all of the tools in the M12 and M18 lines, its backed by their 5-year warranty. I use my Milwaukee cordless stuff heavily all day, every day professionally, and have yet to have a single issue with any of it. Good stuff, and highly recommended!

If you are a contractor and needs to drill quite a few holes in concrete on a daily basis, this is designed for you. We are in Hilti territory here as the drill is well balanced, uses SDS+ bits, has excellent finish, is built to last, and is seriously powerful. This kit comes with two extra long lasting M18 batteries, and they provide constant power for a long, long time. So how does it drill and hammer? Well, the hammer and drill settings are impressive while the drill remains surprisingly quiet. I also really like the handle, which gives complete control to the operator. It is truly an impressive product. Highly recommend it.
