An excellent SDS+ rotary hammer with enough power to drill holes in hardened concrete with ease. Even though it’s rated up to 1 1/8″ bits that is really pushing this tool to the limit. I would suggest using it for holes up 3/4-1″, light chipping and tile removal.

Chose this over the 1inch model. Probably won’t be drilling 1 1/8 holes but the 3.3ft lbs of impact energy was the selling point for me. Almost twice of what others are offering. Haven’t used it to remove tile yet but I can tell you it drills and chisels through concrete with ease. Very happy with my purchase.

Bought this to remove tile mainly and it works great. Not nearly as heavy in weight as my corded model and you don’t have a cord to deal with. I thought the battery life was really good but you will need an extra battery if you use it for any length of time. I would recommend a 4.0 or a 5.0 battery. As always Milwaukee has made another great tool.

Never seen such a powerful cordless rotary hammer with 18volt batterys. Milwaukee changed the way I think about cordless tools with they Fuel-Technology. I’ve only used it to drill 1/2″ holes about 2″ inches deep in some old, very hard, concrete. Just put the bit where you want to drill, pull the trigger, and let it do the work for you, no need to push hard. I love the fact that it’s cordless. Not sure yet about longevity but it seems to be built well. So far, it’s money well spent after sweating bullets drilling 3/16 holes for TapCon screws in the same concrete with a regular drill with a hammer setting. No comparison. Drill bits also seem to last much longer then with the regular drill on hammer setting because of how this drill hammers while drilling.
