All products are great and very useful, just wish you came out with a portable green laser that would take the 12 volt batteries, it would be very useful in the commercial ceiling trade, I use Milwaukee products in everything I do, commercial ceilings, commercial flooring installations, farm work and the use for hunting!! Building blinds to cutting limbs down with the quick lock pole saw, keep up the great work and make the green laser happen.

I really wish this had a drill function for the coring bits like all other sds, sds plus rotary hammers. Otherwise it is a beast.

I got this as an alternative to corded tools in SDS-MAX; for commercial work. It surpassed all expectations. I now use it over my corded tools. I have found that the 12 high output battery gives me much longer operation time then the 9 high demand (I would not go below a 9). This tool has a great shut off if you hit rebar to protect the equipment, and operator. The key if you are drilling alot of holes is to have a couple batteries. I have found with a 9 and a 12 together I can drill about 45-50 holes or so (1/2 through 6in concrete). Although I have more batteries if needed. It is also a good idea to have the rapid charger with you to charge batteries as soon as they drain. In terms of power vs. corded it has it; just works a little different in cycle of operation through the hammering and drilling evolution.

I really do love everything about this hammer drill. I have had the smaller m18 for a while and although I did like it the hammer power didn’t impress me but with the new sds max, I am extremely impressed with its performance. I expected it to be weaker than a corded but I was very surprised when it started hammering. And I really like that you can lock your bit/chisel in place so that it will not spin while hammering. If you are considering a new hammer drill then this definitely will not disappoint!!!
