Great tool by Milwaukee as always ! I do a lot of bathroom and kitchen remodels so this is a great addition to my arsenal . I’ve used it for pulling up old flooring such as tile and glue , and pulling off thinset is no joke! Using on of those sds max 6” scraper blades really helps! I’ll attach a picture and you can see how big of a difference it is compared to my SDS plus 1 1/8” drill makes it easier not having to bend over on demo jobs! I tend to only use it for demos but we did use it for some rebar at a friends job and it beat some corded sds max drill he had , I won’t say the brand but you get the picture! This things a Cordless Beast!

I bought this SDS Max because I needed to remove concrete around floor drains needing adjustment, as a Plumber we chip a lot of concrete and this tool is an absolute beast! Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

Although it was an asphault hauling dump truck fleet owner who recommended this tool for asphault removal from his dump beds, I am finding it of incredible value as a dump driver who hauls a lot of dirt, clay, aggregates on state highway construction. We get clay loads that quickly accumulate up in the front nose of dump bed such that will cause truck to flip when dumping. Shovels can’t penetrate the mass. I carry various chisel bits. This tool gets it done without the risk of slip-fall injuries that an older driver is prone to using a shovel only. Full face protection used. I also carry Milwaukee’s big sawsall for trimming tree roots that would tear or disable the expensive tarp apparatus. Also , our fleet mechanic sometimes needs these tools during mobile tire repair work if a blown tire shred wraps around an axle

Cordless tools and battery technology have come so far…… This hammer drill is the real deal – it does every bit of what Milwaukee says it will do. One more cord out of the way. One less generator running. I got the last kit they had and I someone told me they are now selling the bare tool only. Too bad – the case is awesome. Would love to get a couple of 12.0 batteries for it but they are so expensive….

I’ve been on the m18/m12 platform for quite a while and it has paid off time after time. The m18 fuel 1 9/16″ rotary hammer has been a solid performer for my business and has stood the test of time that would have put some tools into early retirement. However the one reason that I really tip my hat to Milwaukee is for staying with one voltage (18) and one battery and not making loyal customers buy into different voltages and having to use multiple batteries. With the release of the 12.0ah batteries I can go to places to work with confidence that I have all of the power I need to finish the job and to ultimately run a profitable and successful business. Don’t take my word for it….go try it out for yourself. If you are in the market for a good solid sds max or sds plus rotary hammer give it a go….you won’t ever look back or find yourself lacking in performance with the m18 fuel rotary hammer.

This chipped tile off concrete floor like it was butter. I like it because it has no cord to get in the way. The 12 amp battery lasted pretty good for the job.

Match the drill with 12 amp hour batteries and you have an absolute beast! The drill blew through a 12inch concrete wall with ease. I do recommend using a dust collector. I also now no longer have use for my chorded Hilti drill.

I switched from Dewalt to Milwaukee in one weekend and have never looked back. Now I have a shop full of RED tools!! Continue integrating all tools to battery power and improving run times and battery performance.
