Bought this to chip up quarry tile flooring, the guys said it was great and didn’t ever run down, we did swap the battery for one of my 12 amp batteries but overall it ran perfectly

Tool works great, bought a Bosch bit that only lasted two holes when half the teeth were broken

This drill is a beast! Plenty of power and torque. You’ll want bigger batteries for it, I run 8s and 9s in it, very impressed.

This machine right here is a a beast, i have drilled and demolished some concrete and it does the job just like an electric one. I would recommend it to anyone. respect

I’m an electrician and was skeptical for driving ground rods. Works better than the te-76 Hilti we used to use at where I worked before.

Havent used it yet but feels as rugged as corded drill this size.

Good hammer drill with benefits of not having to drag around a cord

Drilled a 2 “ hole through brick with ease and didn’t take long at all . The 9.0 battery is also fantastic

This Hammer drill worked ok, but I needed something with more energy. I returned it and got the corded Demo Hammer

One of the biggest issues of working with concrete is available power to plug in a drill. This drill does everything and more of my large SDS electric rotary hammer drill. I’ve used a 1-3/4 SDS-Max bit and it tore through the concrete. I was shocked. The weight of the drill and battery helps perform heavy vertical drilling. The drill literally walks itself right through aged concrete,It handles very well, and the handle is very easily adjusted and strong yet not hard on the hands. It does take some effort to drill horizontally due to the weight, but it drills so much quicker you can take a breather sooner than anticipated. Positioning your body helps immensely with this. The adjustments from rotary hammer to just hammer is a cinch and the control is large enough you can use it with gloves. A huge plus! Changing bits is effortless and very decisive. You know when the chuck has grabbed the bit and it lets go when you release it. No fighting to insert or to release. The hammer only function with a chisel works as the next best thing to a jackhammer. I was pleasantly surprised. It will handle many projects which haven’t been possible without renting something bigger. It’s a great plus when you need to push a time table, or just need that little extra that other drills can’t provide. The case is enormous and handles everything and then some. I especially appreciate the included lubricant. The 9.0 AH batteries are out of this world period! I think the day is near to seeing the end of corded tools after using this drill and these batteries.

The Milwaukee M18 SDS-Max Rotary Hammer is a beast of a tool. It’s a heavy tool to take on the heaviest of jobs. Changing bits is simple and easy with a positive lock when the bit is inserted in the hammer. The M18 9.0 battery will deliver power to the hammer for twenty minutes of continue use, The hammer has 2 speeds and has a brushless motor which is a positive for longevity.

This M18 FUEL 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 1 9/16 in. SDS-Max Rotary Hammer Kit (1-Battery) is absolutely “Awesome”!!!As I opened the heavy duty carrying case, my first thoughts were: This drill is “HUGE”, and “What have I done?” As I initially played with it, and figured out the very simple settings, I realized that although this drill is big and heavy, the handles are well placed and it’s very comfortable to maneuver and control. The ergonomic design is very good! The easy fit chuck really is “easy” to use, and it locks in the bits securely. The 1-9/16” inch bits aren’t cheap, but nothing about this drill is “Cheap”. It’s really made very well, and it’s very heavy duty!I turned it loose using a chisel bit to clean up a concrete retaining wall where the concrete had run out under the base of the forms when being poured, and I straightened that 30 feet of bottom edge like nobody’s business, and in a hurry! I like this!!! A LOT!!! I’m really glad I got this behemoth!

First ,I actually own this tool ,not Bob down the street , I actually use this tool , I have used ,& have access the other cordless sds max drills. This is a far superior tool as compared to the other red one! As a matter of fact , I my own personal experience the 1 1/8″ milwaukee cordless will out do the other red brands 36v. Put them side by side and see what happens.

I got this as an alternative to corded tools in SDS-MAX; for commercial work. It surpassed all expectations. I now use it over my corded tools. I have found that the 12 high output battery gives me much longer operation time then the 9 high demand (I would not go below a 9). This tool has a great shut off if you hit rebar to protect the equipment, and operator. The key if you are drilling alot of holes is to have a couple batteries. I have found with a 9 and a 12 together I can drill about 45-50 holes or so (1/2 through 6in concrete). Although I have more batteries if needed. It is also a good idea to have the rapid charger with you to charge batteries as soon as they drain. In terms of power vs. corded it has it; just works a little different in cycle of operation through the hammering and drilling evolution.

Lot of power. Used it for three days straight digging foundations in fractured rock works great but you better have a bunch of batteries standing by
