I was at my local HD and looking at the FUEL 18- Volt upgrade to replace an older now broken 18 Volt Milwaukee Sawzall. They were out, I went to HD online and found an even better deal with a bonus vacuum. It doesn’t hesitate on hard materials and is well balanced when cutting in tight areas.

I am a novice DIYer but also a strong believer that regardless how often you use a tool it should be reliable to perform exceptionally when needed. This sawzall fits my needs perfectly and has already been thoroughly put to the test in the short time that I’ve owned it. From trimming hedges and nuisance small tree limbs to helping my friend remove some old wood shelving and cabinets from his barn; this tool has not disappointed me. I’ve come to expect nothing less from the Milwaukee brand. After two hours of trimming I only had exhausted 1 bar of battery life per the fuel gauge on the base of the battery. The one con related to this set is the inclusion of just one 5.0 AH battery. My 2703-22 drill/driver kit included a second battery but let’s not let this little detail detract from what an outstanding all purpose saw this product is. Swapping out blades is as easy as turning a small spring loaded lever located near the mouth of the tool. Quality tools are pricey but will remain dependable for years to come when needed.

I highly recommend this product.I wanted for repair my fences. It was potable and fowerfull enough to cut through 4×4 with nails in second. I was little worry that how can I handle this tool because tool was little heavyer than I thought. I am 100lb woman. But it turns out give me more stabilize cuttings. Ijust got this saw and I like to see how long last.

Have only used it a few times since purchase, but it was worked great so far. Battery lasts long enough to complete my tasks without interruption for re-charging. Like the blade locking mechanism better than my old Porter Cable.

This was a great purchase. I recommend spending the extra money up front for an extra battery. The one I purchased only came with one. I am going to buy another Milwaukee fuel tool, so I will have an additional battery. I do recommend the Sawzall to have in your toolbox.

After watching Milwaukee’s demo video of the Sawzall on youtube, I decided to spring for the tool, and I have to admit I am really pleased with it! It is adding another M18 powered tool to my tool chest and giving me the capability to saw wood and metal pieces that was a gap for me in the past. I will start by discussing the M18 battery on this tool.I have been increasing the number of Milwaukee power tools that I have, and the interchangeability with the batteries on all these tools is an AWESOME feature. Furthermore these batteries can easily last all day, and if you are concerned that you’ve been working all day and might be running low, there is a battery light indicator on the front of the battery. I have heard there are slim-line batteries available, which are a little bit smaller than the regular size batteries that came with the unit, but this is something I need to research further as a possible upgrade to the set. These batteries are fantastic and they do not compromise on performance.The tool itself is great. It is very powerful, has a great size and feel to it and does the job when needed. We used the tool to remove an old wooden shelf at my neighbor’s house, and this thing worked like a dream. The rubber grips at the middle and back of the tool kept the tool very sturdy in my hands and did not slip. For as strong as a motor as this thing has, the vibration level with this Sawzall was surprisingly low, I didn’t lose the feeling in my hands after average use, like other Sawzalls! The LED light is very bright and was great for the back darker corners of the shelf (see pictures.) The kit I purchased came with a battery, a charging station, and an awesome hard-shell case. The tool also has a clip which can be used for hanging. I have yet to use this tool to cut materials like metal or rebar, but based on its use so far, I am very happy! With regards to its cost, this is one of the higher-end sawzalls and you are getting what you pay for, just note it does not come with a blade. With the better power, longer performing batteries, and the over all longevity I expect to get from this tool, I think it is money well spent… Great job Milwaukee!

This is actually my first SawZall. The battery lasts quite a long time. I used it to cut down some brush in and around the back yard. Now that I have one I see its usefulness and don’t plan on going without one. I have all the other fuel tools and Milwaukee has some quality products and it by far and above the leader currently in technology for cordless tools.I have one complaint, but I think it might be an unreasonable complaint. It is heavy. But quality tools that are going to last are heavy. It may be light in comparison to the other tools on the market but I haven’t used those.

The Sawsall seems well-made and high quality. Battery life has been reasonable, and I use it mainly for trimming and cutting roots. The only negative is that it is not made in U.S.A., and I would have paid even more for that feature.
