I’m a professional remodeler who puts tools to work daily. I have had Milwaukee, Porter Cable, (Tiger Saw), and Hitachi corded recieps over the last thirty years. They have all proven to be great saws. I have seen the electricians and plumbers using cordless saws for years. Now with the M18 Fuel line from Milwaukee, I was comfortable to purchase one, that in my opinion, has the power and battery life that is required for my jobs. I purchased the kit and got a free extra battery, (the only way to go), and put it to work right out of the box, (after a full charge). The performance was great. The ergonomics of the body are comfortable, and no cord to come unplugged while working high on a ladder or staging!I researched all the major brands through independent testers, and the Milwaukee M18 Fuel consistently came out on or near the top. The only option that I would like to see added to this saw is the ability to switch from oscillating for cutting wood to straight for cutting metal.

I own most of the Milwaukee 18v tools. Had the need to pick up an extra circular saw to increase production on a job site.Noticed right away that the Fuel tool was able to cut way more per charge than the regular tool. It was also lighter, they say they will out last the regular tools also but that has yet to be seen.I now have the fuel grinder kit, sawzall kit , drill and impact kit along with the circular saw kit. Will be buying more Fuel products as they come out. Also just picked up the new Job site Radio it works great.

Bought it to use as a versatile sawing tool for most things.First day, Milwaukees ‘Axe’ blade. Sawed apart an old cabinet with screws and nails. Went through like butter. Did not even notice that i was cutting through nails.Second day, Used the 12inch pruning blade. Trimmed back some branches that was hovering over the house. Cut an 8 inch in diameter branch with ease! Made about a dozen 8inch cuts and about 25 lighter cuts about 2 to 4 inch cuts, still had 1 bar of battery left. If that’s not enough for you, then get their 5amp battery, haha.I tried to abused it, safely of course, by adding extreme pressure and force and dropping it from a few feet off the ground, nothing. I’m not a pro, nor am do i have lots if money, this is a bit pricy but I’m sure ill be using it for the rest of my life.Recommended!
